Demonpaw's Hunting practice

Dragonsoul waited for Demonpaw outside of Shadowclan camp.
"I hope this one dosn't give me to much trouble" She thought.

Demonpaw padded out of the camp. She sighed inwardly when she saw Dragonsoul. This is going to be a long training process..

Dragonsoul nodded warmly to her apprentice. "Its sunhigh." she began "So where do you think the best place to hunt is right now." Dragonsoul asked, looking slightly at the sky.

"Highpine." Demonpaw answered.

"Very good." Dragonsoul replyed. "You know where highpine is, right" she asked "Lead the way."

Of course I've been to Highpine before. I've only been there, 3 times with Emberfrost? Demonpaw asked herself as she padded in the direction of highpine.

When they got to highpine Dragonsoul flicked her tail, telling Demonpaw to stay quiet and still. There was no prey at the time. "Ok, Demonpaw." She begen "The trick to hunting is, stelth." "Keeping quiet untill the prey is in your jaws." She explained "But some prey is harder than others, my favorite are Voles." Her ear twiched. She saw a vole under a tree.
Lets see what we can do. She though. Carefully pouncing on the vole form behind the tree and swiftly killing it.
"And thats how its done." Muttered Dragonsoul with a mouth full on the freahly caught vole. "Ready to try?" she asked

Midnightpelt did it better. Demonpaw thought suddenly, but nodded. "Ill try my best." She scanned the area for prey.

Dragonsoul watched quietly "Use your ears, not your paws.", "Make no sound." She thought silently to her apprentice. Dragonsoul picked up on a mouse near them. I hope Demonpaw hears it." she thought looking at her.

Demonpaw closed her eyes and sighed inwardly. She ears twitched towards the sound of small feet sratching at the soft earth. She opend her eyes and pounced on the mouse, killing it with her bite to its neck.

Ic- Dragonsoul sighed at her way of hunting, but went with it "Good, now try a sparrow." she mewed, now only half interested in her apprentice.

Demonpaw glared at her mentor. Why don't I just come up with 100 ways to kill you? she asked, accidently saying it outloud.
