Wanting to see his Clan

Cinderfang paced around a small clearing. I'm...I'm a warrior! He couldn't believe Heartstar had remembered! He sat down, as his legs were getting sore.
As much excitement as there was, there was deep-seated sorrow in his heart. He was a warrior all right, but not for his Clan. For StarClan. He sighed, and began to wash his starlit pelt.

Frostfur padded out of the shadows "Hello Cinderfang"

Cinderfang's head shot up. "Frostfur!" he exclaimed, and ran over to his sister. "Your a warrior," he purred.

Emberfrost bounded down from his tree and saw Cinderfang, "Cinderfang" He ran over to his brother and nuzzled him affectionately. "Did you see your ceremony?" He asked

"Yes...I did," he replied quietly. But I'm not SkyClan anymore..

"Cinderfang you may not be in skyclan but you are a warrior and my son" heartstar mewed stepping out of the shadows

"I feel so happy for us all!" she mewed

"Even though you hunt with Starclan, you are still Skyclan" He smiled, "Don't forget that"

"but hazelpaw cant be a medicene cat like she wanted" Heartstar mewed her voice filled with sorrow

Cinderfang was happy to hear that he was still accepted as a SkyClan warrior, but sad for Hazelpaw. "I know she can't. But she will live in peace forever, and she will watch over you all. As will I." A twinkle his eye. "Trust me. Heartstar...may I talk to you alone?" he asked.

"Sure i have something to tell you though" she told him

"Oh? Well, come over here." He padded farther away from Frostfur and Emberfrost, gesturing for his mother to follow.

She followed him quickley and mewed "i dont know"

Cinderfand looked puzzled. "You don't know?" he asked in a hushed voice. "Don't know what?"

"who to pick for deputy" she mewed
