Featherfall shook her head. "Deadfrost, do you not understand? I left you because you were too good. I couldn't stand having to live up to people's expectation. They thought they I had to be just as good as you to get anywhere. I can't handle that. I can't handle being compared to you, your just to perfect, but me, I have to many flaws to count, this being one. And I'm sorry, but I couldn't be myself with you or in that Clan. I needed freedom, because you were all slowly strangling me." She whispered the last sentence, and looked blankly at the cloudy sky above Fourtrees, when a big fat rain drop fell right inbetween her eyes.

I'm not good for her, he thought, she just said so, and what does Deadfrost mean? The she-cat always has the right to do what she wants with the kits..

Deadfrost moaned. "You will never change my mind, Featherfall. I'm far from perfect. I'm a wreck, that's what. I've gone mad." He just supressed a weary, heartbroken sigh. "Fine. I'll try my best, but I'll alway have a shattered, broken heart..and I'm afraid I have no way to mend the hole inside it. I can't believe your thinking of all the negatives of this. Have you forgotten the love I felt for you? Have you forgot the friends you had? Have you forgotten Rainpaw? You broke your promise to him, Featherfall. You promised him he would be a warrior someday. You sat at his vigil, and you promised him. I thought you would at least remember that. But I guess you didn't." He stood, and, paws dragging in the mud, padded away. He didn't even look back.

"Look what you've done!"
Hissed Sunset. She fixed Featherfall with a hatred-filled glare.
"How could you love Bramblestar when you have no heart?"
After finishing her words, she turned her back to the she-cat and chased after Deadfrost.

"Just like you did. Only with actual feeling. It seems like you have none Sunset." Featherfall hissed.

How did I get involved.. he thought, still watching.

Leopardheart unsheathed her claws, eyes burning with regret and hate. "I'm sorry, former apprentice of mine. I can't have you wrecking my clan like this." She snarled and sprang and Featherfall.

Featherfall bristled and jumped to the side. "Go back to your territory Leopardheart. I am no longer in your Clan, and no long listen to you." She hissed, slinking closer to WindClan territory.

He growled loudly, glaring at the surrounding cats.

Featherfall glared back, wondering what his problem was.

Leopardheart growled. "Good apprentice. Go slink off with your rabbit eaters."

"Put a pine cone in it Leopardheart. You know good and well that I'm a deputy and not an apprentice." She spat.
