A Stroll In Teh Night

A mouse sat there, eating a seed. The night moon shone in the sky, lighting the area. The small stars beside it twinkled weakly. Then, white paws flashed and landed right in front of the mouse, trapping it. Claws extended, but when the claws slashed, they slashed at nothing. The mouse had disappeared into it's hole that it was standing right behind of. The orange she-cat who had attempted to kill the mouse lashed her tail in anger. She had not caught anything yet that night. Dark thoughts of failure and displeasure clouded her mind. Sunset, you need to keep training! What are you, a kit? She sighed, and stared up at the clawmark-shaped moon. The stars looked like nothing compared to the brilliance of the moon tonight. She started blindly walking, not knowing where she wanted to go. Sunset had been unable to rest that night, so she went out to hunt. Her claws made large scores in the ground where she walked. Depression pricked at her paws. Her friend had previously left to WindClan. She knew she wanted to hate her, but she couldn't. She missed her. Prowling through the night, she came upong a big tree. She picked her way up, up to the tallest-growing branch. She stred out over the forest. She could faintly hear the relaxing sound of he river rushing in the night. Her fur stood on end. She made a mental note to remind Leopardheart and Goldenstar that it would be soon time to take Sunningrocks back. She stared away from the river, where she could see the rocky mountains jutting up in the distance, and before it, the hills of WindClan. Thoughts of her friend raced back. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She looked farther over, where she could see the marshy area of ShadowClan. Thoughts of hate, rage and betrayal pierced her mind. She sighed and looked down at the ground, far away from her. It was the only place she could look without disturbing thoughts clouding her mind. She scaled back down the tree, and walked around some more. Finding a comfortable looking grassy spot, she lied down in it and sighed once more.

Sandpaw came out fromt he shadows and sigh with her,"what's wrong?" she asked her mentor

"I can't sleep."
She lied.

"ya,niether could I,I just wish for once I could stay in the Warrior's Den!" she sighed

"Do not fret, you will soon get to. I can asume that during my absence, they resumed your training?"
She asked.

"ya,my fighting is good,I've learnd how to hunt and Deadfrost has done an Assesment on me and me and Goldenstar went on a boarder patrol together!" she meowed happily to her mentor

"Wonderful,"
SHe said, without looking up from her spot.

OOC: I be joining o3o Peas? I'm bored.

IC: A cat slid out of a bush. It was Deadfrost. "You think you suffered.." he mumbled. "Those were my kits that are now in WindClan." His eyes were somber.

She flattened her ears. "And you still haven't learned of the efforts to try to get them back?"
She snapped.
"I'm sorry,"
She sighed.
"I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. It's just, almost everywhere I look, I am disturbed by my past."
