Cat Name: Featherkit

Tom, She-Cat, or Nonbinary: She-Cat

Appearance: Featherkit is a short-statured she-cat with sandy-cream fur, light ginger mackerel tabby markings that display most prominently on her head and tail, and light blue eyes.  She has a round face, lightly tufted ears, and a long feathery tail.  She has short fur with a downy texture, like the soft feathers of a bird.  She has a delicate figure, her body built for swimming and sneaking rather than for the more brutal things of life.

Personality: Feather lives life to enjoy herself, and stars forbid anyone to get in the way of her doing what she wants.  She is a curious and adventurous soul, always wanting to learn something new about the world and the cats around her.  A social butterfly, her charming demeanor and interesting questions can keep even the most awkward cat talking.  She has an innate self-confidence that exudes in everything she does, brushing off failure easily and not letting anything get her down.  She loves listening to gossip and old stories, especially tales of love, and dreams of someday having her own to tell.  

However, the thought of being tied down by big responsibilities like kits and rank doesn’t appeal much to her yet; she would rather take each day as it comes without having to worry about tomorrow.  Being bossed around by the big-whigs and running by their schedule…nah.  Feather runs her own life, and if that means being chewed out for being “disrespectful” or “lazy” then so be it, she can take it.  Independence is what she craves, but she’s smart enough to know when to get serious.  

She’s very intelligent all around; she pays attention to everything and knows how to read beneath the words cats are curated to say.  Her heart is kind, and she hates seeing other cats in pain or distress and would cross borders to give them a helping paw.  She doesn’t like fighting other cats and isn’t too fond of the concepts of battle and war in general.  She finds it vulgar and distasteful, and will only do so to protect others.  She adores swimming and could spend forever in the water if she could; she finds the world under the river beautiful.
