Their Coming, Their Coming!

Featherfall sat close to the nursery, licking her paw and drawing them over her ears. She said hi to the occasional apprentice, with a joy-filled smile. This behavior was so unlike Feather. Maybe it was the litter of kits in her belly. The queen laid down in a warm patch of sun. Her fur had just reached the right the right temperature when she felt something stir inside her, like a piece of fresh kill was still alive and was moving around in her stomach. Suddenly a sharp pain struck in her stomach and she let out an ear splitting yowl.

Whinterpaw heard a yowl and bounded over to where he heard it.

Deadfrost's eyes snapped open, and his fur fluffed up. That...that was Featherfall's shriek!
He scrambled out of his nest, and over to the nursery. "Featherfal, I'm--Oh...the kits!" He looked wildly around. "Where--where is Lilyleaf?" he growled.

Featherfall gave another shriek yowl, and bent over in pain. "Get them out! RIGHT NOW!" She screamed.

Deadfrost was frozen. "I-I...what do I have to do....oh, StarClan." He ducked out of the den, and looked around the camp, muscled tense. "Someone! Featherfall is having her kits!" he yowled furiously.

With a horrendous screech, the gray she-cat feel onto her side and took in a deep breath.

"Oh, no...what was the herb...what was the herb..." A single sentence popped into his mind. Raspberry...she needs raspberry and moss.. Deadfrost searched quickly around the medicine den, and he picked out some leaves, as something told him they were raspberry. He then scrambled around for some wet moss, found some, and scrabbled back to the nursery. "Eat these leaves..." He told Featherfall. The nosed them towards her.

"Whats going on!" Beechpaw mewed.

Featherfall chewed them quickly. Her back arched a bit and she let out another yowl as a kit slipped out. It was golden, and mewled sweelty. "Lick it." She commanded Deadfrost in a strained voice.

"Oh My StarClan!!" she mewed rushing over to Feather.

Deadfrost licked it furiously, and it started to breath. He pit it next to her belly, and looked dow on it. Oh...my..so cute! Deadfrost looked back at Beechpaw. "Featherfall is having her kits..."

"Oh, Don't worry, I'll stay untill your done! I will not leave a queen with only one cat to help." she mewed, staring at the beautiful kit.

Featherfall gave a grunt, and another kit was visible. Feather nosed the white kit towards the other two cats. The little tom had gray smudges on his chest and gave a cry. "Warm it now!" She commanded, her voice cracking.

IC: Deadfrost warmed the next kit, and put it next to the other. He nosed the moss towards Featherfall's muzzle. "Drink some."
