Name: Gouge Gender: Tom Personality: Despite his threatening name and appearance, Gouge is an easygoing, friendly, laid-back, intelligent, self-assured gentle giant. He is not quick to speak, and he does not waste his breath on matters he perceives as unimportant. He is usually upfront and transparent with his thoughts and opinions and isn't afraid to tell a cat something to their face, making him appear bold, but also sometimes perceived as harsh or blunt in certain circumstances. He is resolute about any decisions he makes or opinions that he shares, not easy to sway or talk down once he's made up his mind, which may appear as passionate or stubborn depending on which cat you ask. Gouge is a sweet and loyal friend who would readily give his life to protect those he cares about. Romantically, Gouge may even become a little shy around a she-cat he takes a fancy to. However, his enemies should beware, because he can be unforgiving and determined, a fierce and skilled fighter, and rumor has it that he has been known to be vengeful or even downright cruel. Appearance: Gouge is an absolutely MASSIVE dark brown tabby maine coone tom with a broad, muscular build, oversized fangs and smoldering amber eyes. At 15 lbs (6.8 kg) of sturdy muscle and 16" tall (40.6 cm) at the shoulder, he usually towers over most cats. His amber eyes are deep and penetrating, making cats feel exposed, as though he can see the secrets inside their minds; this can sometimes make other cats uncomfortable to be around him. His pelt is riddled with scars, some small, and some huge, and he has a story to tell for every one of them. He has a deep, rumbling voice like distant thunder. Cats who don't know Gouge may be inclined to be intimidated by his massive, fierce and battle-scarred appearance.
