Heartstar is missing

Emberpaw woke up and walked into heartstars den to find the den empty, "Heartstar!!" He called out

Cinderpaw sniffed around, and saw Emberpaw...in Heartstar's...empty den! Cinderpaw hurried over. "Oh, no..." he trailed off. "First Hazelpaw, now Heartstar...we need to keep the Clan stable. We can't let it fall into chaos." He waved his tail for Emberpaw to follow him. "Frostpaw is out hunting, probably, so we should let her come to camp." He sat down in front of the pitiful fresh-kill pile. He picked out a rabbit, and began to eat.

Emberpaw followed cinderpaw, and picked out a big thrush to eat

Cinderpaw pulled another chunk of meat off. "About the Gathering....well, we know were Fourtrees is, so why not just go?" he meowed. It will never be the same without Heartstar! "Can you help me plan...for it? I can manage....but I'll need a lot of help. Okay?" he mewed, nibbling at the rabbit. But I can't do better that mother...

"Okay!" He exclaimed happily Cinderpaw is so lucky, he gets to help with everything

Cinderpaw sighed. "But I miss Heartstar. She...she was our mother...wether she left or not," he sniffled. He was sad, yes, but it was her choice. "It won't be the same without her." He finished up the rabbit, and gave his paws a wash. He paused. "But we can't let SkyClan die." His eyes shone. "We will keep it alive, me and you and Frostpaw. One day, we'll be great!" he declared.

"Yeah! We'll make great warriors someday!" He mewed proudly

Heartstar padde into camp two plump voles in her mout she dropped them on the freshkill pile and mewed "hi you two"

IC: "mom!" he ran over to her and licked he ear affectionately, "where were yo?" he asked

"hunting!" she mewed

"f'or that long?" He asked

Frostpaw padded into camp with nothing,but she was coughing violently with her head down.She lifted her head "Heartstar!" she mewed happily

Cinderpaw raced over to his mother, and buried his nose in her fur. "Heartstar!" he cried. "I though you'd left...since...oh, never mind. I'm so glad I don't have to do the Gathering," he purred.

"you never will!!! im never leaving" she mewed happily and smiling

"Well, thank StarClan." He looked up at her with wise, round eyes. "Um...If you don't mind...I an try and get Hazelpaw back from ThunderClan, I know--well, can I try?" he asked, dumbfounded by how he knew the rout.
