WCC Code of Conduct

This is the official code of conduct for the site. To put it another way, it's similar to a set of rules that our users must adhere to. Please follow these rules, and you won't have any trouble. If you are searching for RP rules, they can be found underneath the Rules forum on site.

1. Be kind to other members. Even if you can't tolerate them, you don't need to say anything. It's better to just say nothing than to say something mean or hurtful.
2. No swearing. You don't know how another member may feel about it, and there are many children on the site.
3. No spamming. There are a few designated topics in the chatterbox for chatting, games, and more, but otherwise, please keep any spam to a minimum.
4. No double posting in roleplay topics. If you have something to say, it can be said in one post. You can always go back and edit it before another member posts. Solo topics are exempt from this. Double posts are allowed in off-topic boards and announcements.
5. Don't give out your personal information/password. Standard internet safety - do not give out your full name, passwords, addresses, or any other personal information.
6. Only have one account. One is all you need, we don't have separate accounts for each character. If you forget your log in information or your account was deleted, you may return to the site under a new one. Be honest about if you had an account here before and who you were, though!
7. Only roleplay as your approved cats. No extra characters outside the ones you've made creations for, unless they are being controlled as part of a prophecy, as dictated by an Administrator.
8. If you have been away for a long time, please contact an Administrator regarding bringing back any cats. Your cat is said to have disappeared or died on the site if you were an active member that left for an extended period of time. If you have been away for a shorter period of time and would like to return with your previous characters, you may do so by contacting any Staff member, and the team will discuss allowing them to fully return.
9. Please inform your fellow RPers if you're going to be away for an extended period of time. Please make a Member Announcement to let others know that you're away. It's only polite as we are a tight-knit community, and we would be worried to see a member suddenly disappear.
10. Do not attempt to circumvent the rules. Don't try to find or create loopholes, because it doesn't work that way. If you're knowingly breaking a rule, you're breaking a rule, no matter the technicalities.
11. Art theft and art tracing is not allowed on WCC. We respect the work that goes into the artistic process, and as such, we have zero toleration for art theft and tracing. If it is discovered, disciplinary actions will be taken.
12. Post templates may only be used with written consent from the original creator. A lot of time and effort goes into coding templates to make role-playing a more aesthetic experience. Editing someone else's template does not make it yours. If it is discovered that you have failed to acquire permission, or otherwise claimed someone else's work as your own, disciplinary action will be taken.
13. WCC adheres to the Cathedral view of community contributions. This means that contributions by any user to site lore, mechanics, rules, and systems may not be rescinded.
