The strike had stung, his wound stung. He could feel the warmth of his blood as it seeped out of the wound, but in the end he felt nothing but emptiness. He didn't manage to catch any prey, couldn't even finish an eagle on his own. "I... I'm fine." He panted out, the adrenaline of the fight slowly wearing off.
At least the clan could eat the eagle.. but still there was no satisfaction in this for him. "Can we go back now? I should probably get Bat to look at this.." He asked her. He wanted nothing more to go back and hide away but he was going to wait for her permission first.

Brackenwing took in his answer, a hint of concern finding its way into her expression. That wound would need to be looked at when they got back to camp, and now that the fight was over, she could tell Tigerpaw was more tired than he'd let on. The request to head back toward camp wasn't needed - Batsong would kill her if she didn't take him back to camp, and it wasn't one she was interested in denying or making the apprentice 'tough it out' either.
"Come on, let's get that looked at." She mewed gently, beginning to lead the way back toward camp.
