| currently I am fighting the impulse to murder Magpiesight, and even though it might not happen for a bit, I kind of want to start planning my next baby! I know TC is packed right now, but I've not yet had a character in it, and so that is probably where he'll end up However, I do really want him to end up with a mate he's been friends with since kithood (preferably a she-cat), and have the chance to really develop their relationship as friends before anything else, since none of my characters have really had that yet. And also he loves kits and will probably want to have lots lol. So if anyone is looking for a slow-burn long term mate for a Thunderclan child, here it is! - Finch:

Personality: Can come across snappy or short-tempered, often the first to pick a fight with someone in the wrong, but cares deeply about his whole clan, even if he struggles to show it. In truth, although he can get angry quite easily and has a bit of a tendency to unnecessarily shout, he's really a big softy. His love for organisation means he is an avid follower and enforcer of rules. A strategist at heart, he would much rather be behind the front lines preparing the clan's next move than be in the centre of the fight, even though if a loved one is in danger he will jump in without a second thought. His confident air shatters completely in the face of those he admires, leaving him struggling to put his emotions into words. Growing up with a large and tight-knit family, he loves kits and plans on having many of his own as a warrior. He puts a lot of effort into trying to be a good cat, and at first strongly believes the only way to do this is by following/enforcing the rules. However, he might one day have to realise that the code isn't perfect, and break the rules in order to help another. | Finch and Comfrey are both different and alike, so I think they could be interesting together! She's a bit older than him for already being an apprentice but I'd like to see how they are together if you do too? Comfreypaw is very compassionate, and would be patient with any short tempers and shouting. She's deep with Thunderclan spirit, so a rule follower, and also brave and is eager to battle for her clan and loved ones which can provide some nice contrast with Finch's preference to stay behind lines. She leads with her heart not her head, so even more contrast to the strategist. Comfrey is very family-oriented as well, so they'll match nicely. Even if you don't find Comfrey a good suitor I believe they'd be great friends. ______________________________________
