Cat Name: Daykit
Tom, She-Cat, or Nonbinary: Tom
Appearance: - Spoiler:
Day takes predominantly after his father in regards to appearance. His silken fur is medium-length save for a long, feathery tail, and is a pleasant pointed gold, though his points aren't as dark as his father's. He bears bright blue eyes set into a handsome, angular face, and his hind-legs are naturally well-muscled from generations of SkyClan heritage. His forelegs and chest are relatively narrow, lacking in much of the bulk natural to ThunderClan cats. He rarely stands straight, making him appear shorter (and meeker, in a way) than he really is.
Personality: At first brush, Day can come off as cynical, snarky, and in some cases, even a bit aggressive. On deeper inspection, he's really just more of a realist and a skeptic; he's frank while speaking, even if it means coming off as needlessly sarcastic; and he's hardly mean-spirited, just quick to jump the gun on self-defense.
At his core, Day is a thinker. He's got a keen mind, and he prefers to work through problems logically... but having a preference for something doesn't mean that's always how things go. With his prickly shell and his bleeding heart, he tends to act out when emotions are brought into a situation, even if he kicks himself for it later. Still, he's witty and observant, and uses his sharpness for all its worth.
Even if he's not outright cruel, he does have an irritable streak; with a short temper and a need to justify every move he makes, Day can be prone to snapping at other's; he hardly means it, though. At the end of the day, he
is patient (relatively, at least) and kind, often the first to jump to someone's assistance, and usually willing to roll his eyes and laugh along at his Clanmates antics. He's tolerant of anyone's eccentricities (even if he makes a sharp remark about them), and always willing to give advice.
Perhaps his drive to help others is less about some innate graciousness and more of a ploy to make himself fit in (no, he does genuinely care; still, he wonders if he's acting about it, sometimes). Wedging himself into the box of an outcast, Day isn't quite sure he belongs in the Clan he calls home. He will happily call himself a proud warrior of ThunderClan– but does he, or anyone, really believe it? Deep-set insecurities plague the tom. He idolizes the Clan's high ranks to an almost dangerous degree, willing to put himself in even life-threatening situations for their approval. He admires them more than anything, and pushes himself to be just like them. He wants nothing more than to be apart of something bigger than himself, to prove himself as important, as worthy of the mantle of a true ThunderClan warrior.
Driven, caring, blunt, skeptical, insecure, passionate.
