Border skills (apprentices and me just, k?)

Deadfrost had just sprung an idea this morning, and he headed over to the apprentices' den. "Hey, you guys! I have something special for you to do!"

Snowpaw lifted her head and sprung onto her paws "What?" she mewed

Deadfrost yawned, and sat down. "I want to teach you guys border tactics and badger defense, but we must wait for others to come," he explained. "I was only gonna do it with my own apprentice, but why not let others join?"

"Yeah" she mewed trying to wake herself when a clump of snow on her back.She jumped and unsheated her claws "Im awake!" she mewed shivering

Deadfrost laughed. "This will be your last training session before your a warrior, you know?"

"Yeah" she mewed,shaking the snow of her fur

Deadfrost licked a paw. "While we wait, why don't I give you a lesson now?" He rubbed his cold nose. "Okay, so you scent badger, and you hear one hiding in a bush. What do you do?"

"Tell everyone?" she mewed "I was never trained about this"

Deadfrost shrugged. "That's okay, I'm just asking you what you would do if you knew one was in a bush in front of you. You don't have to have it correct."

"What would I do if there was a badger?" she asked

"If you scented one hiding in a bush near you, what would you do?" he asked again, being patient.

Snowpaw began to think. "Go back to camp and tell other cats so they can help?" she mewed

Angelpaw had heard the question when she was waking slowly. "What would I do if I scented a badger in a bush....." she mewed springing to her feet, waking up. "Glowl, hiss that kind of stuff to scare it away."

"Hi angelpaw!" she mewed to her friend

"Hi, did I say that out loud? The badger thing?" she said, she was almost away and didn't know she actally said what she would do if she scented a badger.
