Insecure. Phen has never been comfortable in her own skin. She lives to please others only, and has difficulties finding any confidence in herself. She wants to be the best version of herself, but not for herself. For her mother. For her mother's wish. For her new home. For the Clan that took her in. The thought of doing something for herself and only herself... That's a foreign concept.

Compassionate. Her mother taught her the core value of kindness, and she'd give the pelt off her back for a stranger if she could. Every cat deserves some kind of kindness, and not every cat shows kindness the same way. Her mother often said that one cat's kindness may be different than another cat's kindness, and that she should appreciate life. Mercy is the greatest gift any cat could give, and Phen takes her mother's beliefs to heart. After all, it's all she has left.

Polite. Phen was taught to be polite no matter what. To say "thank you", "you're welcome", "good morning", "sweet dreams." Nagi told her it was just the nice thing to do, and Phen is inclined to agree. She likes being able to see a cat's true smile, and if something as simple as showing her gratitude will do that, then that's what she'll do.

Understanding. In order to truly appreciate someone, you have to understand them. So Phen tries her hardest to. She wants to know all about different types of cats, so that she'll never accidentally judge someone too soon. Her mother was a firm believer that no cat should be judged by a first impression or the way they look.

Quiet. Very softspoken, and one of the only core traits she has that doesn't stem from her mother. Despite her friendly personality, Phen is rather quiet, and while she really wants to, she can't quite bring herself to be more social. She wishes she were more like her mother in that aspect, but too many cats make her nervous, and when several conversations are happening she gets confused and flustered.

Willful. Full of determination, Phen is set on being an incredible warrior of WindClan, to make her mother proud. This aspiration is her driving force in life, and nothing will ever stop her from accomplishing this goal. Her mother died making sure she made it to WindClan, and so, to honor her legacy and her sacrifices, Phen has vowed to make Nagi proud by becoming a reliable warrior.

Independent. Phen has been self-sufficient since her mother passed, proving her iron hard will, stubborn fighting spirit, and courage. She relies mostly on herself, seeing anything she can't accomplish as a hurdle she must cross in order to achieve her goal. However, she knows that sometimes, it's okay to ask for help. Once in a blue moon, if she realizes the task is too hard, she'll ask somecat for help.
