What are the duties of a medicine cat? : To heal, protect, and care for the sick and injured, with Clanmates taking precedence; to provide guidance, advice and support to leaders and deputies, as well as other members of your Clan; to assist the warrior apprentices in their Moonstone journeys and to properly train your own so they may fully care for their Clan in your absence; to consistently attend the medicine cat meetings and, alongside that, to speak with StarClan, interpret the messages they send, and relay prophecies, omens, etc. of note to your fellow high ranks.
What would you do with this position? : This position would be amazing for Cloverpaw's current character, as well as any future development.
She has loved her Clan and held them in the highest regard for the entirety of her relatively short life, and has wanted nothing more than to protect and care for them since she was a kit. While she had dreams of grandeur of becoming the best warrior the Forest had ever seen, perhaps their lifestyle isn't for her, and she would be better suited to serving her Clan in different ways. I would use my position as medicine cat apprentice to push Cloverpaw in a different direction developmentally and to aid the cats of RiverClan in a way she could not as a warrior.
Why you think you deserve this position? : Despite only having recently rejoined the site, I have become an active member in that time, both on-site and off. I have used my time here to actively create and participate in various threads and to connect with the other members of the community.
And as discussed previously, Cloverpaw was made to have an intense drive and ambition to serve her Clan, even if it isn't by fighting battles and bringing prey home. Her fierce and fiery personality is also not what one may think of when they picture a medicine cat, so she would make for an interesting character in the position.
