"Dogs!"
Hissed Sunpaw, limping from behind Deadpaw.
"Sniveling, flea-bitten, worthless creatures!"
She spat.

"AHHHHHHHH! Ow!" she said jumping, falling on top of her injured leg.

Deadpaw smiled, and lied down. "Well, I was hunting near Fourtrees, and I saw Brambleflame, a ShadowClan warrior, sitting there. I asked him what was going on, and then Heartpaw, a SkyClan apprentice, came with dogs chasing her." He paused to take a breath. "We fought hard, and we were injured in the process. Sunpaw dislocated her leg, Brambleflame got his neck bitten, and I...sprained an ankle, and got these cuts." I was partly true, but the cuts hadn't come from the dogs, but the Dark Forest cats. Deadpaw didn't think it was wise to tell the kit abouth the shadow cats. "You ok?"

"Wow! I hate having to look after these stupid scratches!" she said licking her wounds.

"Then imagine an entire dislocated leg!"
SUnpaw said gloomily.
"We did fight hard, more than once. I thought for sure that fox-dung of a dog had broken my spine when it flung me at that tree..."

Deadpaw twitched his whiskers." A warrior won't leave a battle unscathed."

"Heh, yep" she said laying at his feet.

Sunpaw stretched her 3 good legs, aching for a run through the forest.

"I'm tired of playing badger, now." she said aching for something other to do.

"I know,"Bluekit meowed."How about we play...hunting!!"
