Flarekit (Amber) of WindClan

Cat Name: Flarekit (formerly Amber)

Tom or She-Cat: She-cat

Appearance: An orange tabby cat with green eyes, she holds her beautiful appearance (which her two-leg owners often cooed over) in high-esteem



Personality: Fierce, vain and gregarious, Flarekit is the type who draw attention wherever she goes and loves it. She is eager to become a Warrior and prove herself more than her kittypet origins. Unfortunately, her eagerness and excitable personality often gets her in trouble, as she usually leaps before she looks. Though she holds a lot of admiration for the Warriors and tries to give a good impression, her mischievous personality has a habit of coming out, especially as she starts getting more comfortable in clan life.

Clan: WindClan

Origins: Born a kittypet and named Amber for her coat by the two-legs who kept her, she was never satisfied with the gilded cage life of a kittypet. Yearning deeply for adventure and excitement, Amber ran away to where the Clans were rumored to dwell. Unfortunately, she was quite ill prepared for the outside world and was nearly killed until she was saved by WindClan Warriors on patrol. Afterwards, she was taken in by the clan and began her new life as Flarekit.

You've written a great backstory. Since WindClan does allow outsiders to join their clan, it can definitely happen. However, I want to clarify two things. First, she will have to start as Amber, and will be considered a loner at first. If you want her to be saved by WindClan warriors on patrol and join the clan that way, you'll have to roleplay it out. I recommend you go to the plotting pages (https://warriorclancats.forumotion.com/f69-plotting-pages) and make a post asking for WindClan warriors who could come and rescue Amber. At that point, Amber can ask Ravenstar to join WindClan.

All this is because we require that complex backstories or special origins to be played out. A kit can't be the son of a leader unless the real leader of their clan is having kits, and things like that. If this is not something you are interested in doing, and you want to start in WindClan right away, you could make a character who was born in WindClan. You don't need parents played by other members in that scenario, they would be pure-WindClan NPCs.

Do either of those options work for what you'd like to do?

I wouldn’t mind playing it out. It sounds like fun, haha. I’ve posted in the plotting page, so I guess I’ll wait to for responses :)

But in case that takes a while, I can also create another character with a simpler backstory, right?

You can have up to 3 characters, and having a fully ranked up warrior or medicine cat you can earn a 4th. So yes!
