OOC: Hey guys. So I haven’t made Willowheart’s death topic so this is in Meta musings because it’s so late. I’m bad at deaths Im sorry.
The scent of mouse always enticed Willowheart. Having just went out for a hunt right after Summer’s talk with her, Willowheart was rather distracted. The young warrior’s sapphire eyes stared at her catch, but her mind wandered off. Did she really not interact with her Clanmates that much? Reflecting on her recent activities, the sudden realisation made her jolt in surprise. Her eyes grew sorrowful once more and her heart sank. The white warrior’s cream underbelly was stained with flecks of mud and dirt. How long had she been in this hunting crouch? Her brown-tipped tail was waving much too high, her belly not low enough. It was a miracle that the mouse STILL had not spotted her. Dawngaze would have chastised her for that mistake. Laughing silently at herself, Willowheart started stalking her prey once more. The mouse was so…so…close…
Snap
A branch snapped underneath her foot. The mouse’s beady black eyes flicked towards her. For a moment, they stared at each other. Then, it took off, a small brown blur in the forest floor. “OH FOXDUNG!” She cursed, before chasing after it. Her mind was now solely focused on the runaway mouse and Willowheart was so intent on catching it that she didn’t smell the rancid scent of the Thunderpath. As the mouse scampered onto the black gravel, the warrior slammed her paw onto it, crushing it to death immediately. With a triumphant smile, Willowheart picked it up. A screech. She was staring into the horrifying face of the monster. Time went still as it rammed into her side. Willowheart let out a wheeze of pain and collapsed. The Twolegs stepped out of the car, jaws set in a grim line, before the monster wove around the she-cats body and ran away. Willowheart stared up at the sky, body still, prey forgotten. She would never move again.
OOC: I think she just needed some closure. Again, I apologise for any mistakes this was rushed.
