Spending Time With the Kits During the Gathering

Mudpuddle walked in the Nursery. "Hello Rockkit, Weedkit, Lionkit" Mudpuddle meowed

"Hi daddy, Why are you not going to the gathering" Weedkit asked.

"I wasn't invited to go this time. Besides, I would like to spend time with you" Mudpuddle meowed than turned his head to see Dewdrop and Cherrykit "Hello Dewdrop" Mudpuddle meowed.

"Oh" Weedkit mewed and frowned

"So, Dewdrop how is Cherrykit" Mudpuddle meowed

Cherrykit bounnded up to Mudpuddle. "hello!" She meowed.

"Apparently fine" Mudpuddle meowed. "And how was your day today."

"Great!" Cherrykit Said.

"Thats, good. Have you been playing with the other kits" Mudpuddle meowed

"Yes she has" Weedkit mewed butting in and wanting attention from his father.

"Thats great, who wants to go out in the snow" Mudpuddle meowed to the kits

"I do!" Cherrykit meowed. She ran out into the snow and started dashing around the fresh-kill pile. As she came around into view, her fluffy tail whacked against a large water vole, and it toppled over onto her. Cherrykit yowled in surprize and started to claw at the vole. She lunged up, bit the vole on the throat, and let go. Cherrykit yowled in triumph, hissed at the vole, and strutted back to Mudpuddle and the others. "Did you see that?" She meowed indignantly. "It attacked me!!"
