Shadowclan's Harekit

Cat Name: Harekit

Tom or She-Cat: Tom

Appearance: Harekit is a darker grey cat with a white neck, chest, and belly. The ends of all of his legs are white as well. He is short-haired but his fur gets tuftier on his chest and his belly. He has amber eyes and a distinct stripe of white on his lower cheeks and muzzle. His voice is a little hoarse, even as a kit, and his purr is a relatively silent rumble.

Personality: Harekit is always rather well-mannered and calm as a kit, not seeing the point of breaking rules or joining other kits on exploration if they wouldn't get very far and eventually get in trouble. His mild and quiet exterior tends to come off as aloof, and as a result is more well-liked by the adults in the clan than by his peers.

As he grows up, he does view himself as more impartial than other cats, especially his prickly Shadowclan clan-mates. He's not one to initiate action, but always has an opinion about what actions should be taken. His passive opinion is not always well-received, even when he's older: cats tend to think of him as lazy or full of himself. He does hold a barrier between him and his clan-mates, often thinking that he does, in fact, know better than most of them; but he also is not nearly as closed off as he can be perceived. He wants to engage in lively debate, and doesn't see disagreement as antagonistic, but instead playful and interesting. Unfortunately because of his history of aloofness, other cats can think he's just picking fights, and disengage with him because of that.

He shows his more playful side when hunting, because it's where his patience and strategy tends to pay off. He challenges himself to come up with new ways of hunting. He also gets along with his clan-mates more when he hunts, as his skill is more easily understood and respected by his clan-mates.
