♔ Arno
Former SkyClan
Kittypet BIOGRAPHY
KITHOOD
Sandkit was born in the mountains during the time of the Great Flood. He did not know the culture of the forest, having been raised among all the clans, nor did he want it. He had an enormous love for climbing, running, and leaping. He had an extremely tight bond to his littermates with none of the traditional love for clanmates. They were members of a community, but he did not understand their communal way of life.

APPRENTICESHIP
Sandpaw was a pompous, cheeky, and entitled young tom full of vivacious energy. The only care he had was for himself and his kin. He enjoyed the thrill of battle and likened it to a game. His life changed on his journey to the Moonstone, when he was visited by the spirit of his half-brother, Ridley, who explained that he and part of his litter were the children of a loner named Starlord. Sandpaw took it upon himself to protect his siblings and his mother from any harm or excommunication from SkyClan as a result of Firflower's forbidden romance. Things only get more stressful when Maplepaw, his youngest sister, goes missing right out of camp.

WARRIORSHIP
Sandblaze's warriorhood began and ended tremulously. Maplepaw returned after moons living with ShadowClan in the era of Burntstag's takeover. The truth about her disappearance came with a heavy cost, and she was given two options: an extended apprenticeship or exile from SkyClan. Finding peace with leaving the clan she grew up in, Sandblaze had no choice but to let her go. He christened her Delta, for the name Starlord had given her before his death. After rejecting the romantic advances of Burningsun in a fit of sorrow, Sandblaze ran away to Twolegplace for the first time. He met a kittypet named Jerry and for the first time experienced the life his father knew. Upon his return. Sandblaze confided the truth in Amberdawn and she promised to protect the identity of his father and keep his siblings safe. Moons after Delta's exile, Sandblaze finally admitted to his littermates the nature of their birth. Of course, all good thing must come to an end. During a border skirmish with ShadowClan, Sandblaze accidentally killed Redwing, a respected senior warrior and deputy, in front of Delta, now named Cardinalpaw by Thornstar. He had no choice but to run.

LIFE IN TWOLEGPLACE
Fearing the judgement of both ShadowClan and SkyClan, Sandblaze sent his brothers to seek sanctuary in WindClan, who were known for taking in cats of all backgrounds. In an attempt to keep them from being punished if he were to be caught, Sandblaze took on the name Arno, allowed Burningsun to scar his face, and ran away to Twolegplace... this time for good. After wandering for days with no food, no water, and infected wounds, he found Amberdawn, who had also left out of guilt for letting down her grandfather, Tinystar. Now named Marmalade, she nursed him back to health until he was back to his former glory. He walked the path of a loner, beholden to no one, and for the first time found happiness. In guiding Leaftwirl, a visiting former clanmate, to her truest destiny, righting his wrongs to Spottedstar, and apologizing to Cardinalcry for the way he treated her, he could finally repay his debt to the forest. Arno was ready to move on.

LEAVING THE FOREST
Marmalade's twolegs took to their kittypet's stray friend almost immediately, outfitting him with a bandanna and opting to take him along on their move. With his newfound family by his side and greener pastures ahead, Arno left the forest with a soul finally complete.

ꕤ Aspenheart
WindClan
Medicine Cat BIOGRAPHY
KITHOOD
Aspenkit’s heritage is largely an enigma, even to himself. His mother did not share the identity of his father, and died shortly after giving birth. His sister, Heatherkit, would follow shortly after. He was known for his quiet and methodical nature, and had the luxury of an calm kithood.

WARRIOR APPRENTICESHIP
Apprenticed to Finchbreeze as a warrior apprentice, Aspenpaw struggled with his high-strung tendencies, especially when he and a number of cats were kidnapped by twolegs. The Great Flood came in the dead of night, forcing WindClan out of their home. Half of the clan was swept away, while Aspenpaw and a few others were able to reach high ground after being jostled in the waves. Finchbreeze led a broken clan to the mountains, where they learned that Brindlestar would not be returning with them. WindClan hesitated to follow the other clans to the Tribe, and was attacked by a pack of mad dogs. Aspenpaw was brutally thrown against Highstones and witnessed the death of his denmate, Frozenpaw, before escaping. Safe in the mountains, Finchstar and Aspenpaw shared a moment of brotherhood that would define the remainder of their time together. Upon their return home after the flood, Barleytuft and Finchstar discovered that Aspenpaw’s multiple head injuries had permanently damaged his mind, taking away most of his control over his limbs and his balance. He walked with a hobble and was struck with seizures on a regular basis. He felt broken, and prepared to join the elders’ den before he ever received his name. SkyClan’s medicine cat, Mintwhisker, came to the moor in order to diagnose him and gave him the option of training as a medicine cat. He accepted wholeheartedly, but would not come to appreciate the duties of his new role for a while.

MEDICINE APPRENTICESHIP
Aspenpaw and Finchstar experienced a rift following the death of the leader’s mate, especially since Mintwhisker took Aspenpaw on as an apprentice and Finchstar’s obligations to him were filled. They were able to make amends under their new stations in life, and began to regard each other as equal brothers rather than mentor and apprentice. Barleytuft’s mate, Graybriar, gave birth to a litter under Aspenpaw’s watch, effectively solidifying his place as Barleytuft’s friend and a true medicine cat apprentice. WindClan’s decision to open the tunnels was guided by Aspenpaw, who took three warriors to the Moonstone to receive the knowledge of tunnelling from ancient ancestors. This was where Aspenpaw first met a notable spirit guide, Nightrunner. Aspenpaw takes Barleytuft’s son, Cloverpaw, out for an herb patrol, where they are attacked by a dog. Aspenpaw brought Cloverpaw back from the brink of death, though with a number of scars and a bent tail. After many moons of careful study and practice, Aspenpaw became a medicine cat honored for his perseverance and intelligence.

EARLY MEDICINE CAT
Terror struck the moor, with a group of strange predators taking control of the new tunnels on WindClan’s land. But these were not normal predators: they were foreign cats; they wore the skins of predators, sometimes even warriors, and sought to take the territory for themselves. Aspenheart received visions of warning, and in their time of need, he took an apprentice in Mistystripe. Puddlepaw’s death by the pelt-wearers encouraged Aspenheart to reveal his idea to poison them with fresh-kill. The plan failed, and WindClan was forced to go to war. After two hard battles, WindClan emerged victorious… but not without it casualties. Mistystripe, as well, disappeared in the midst of the chaos. But the moor was safe.

MID MEDICINE CAT
Softkit showed signs of being ready for the medicine ct way of life, and when she reached the age of 6 moons, she was apprenticed under him. But times of trouble came again for the forest, as the Righteous Few took control of the stars and demanded the clans repent. Aspenheart took issue with Finchstar putting the clan in danger again by denouncing what they believed to be StarClan. Both Softpaw and Aspenheart, under considerable amounts of stress, deal with them in different ways. Lashing out in terror, Aspenheart struck his apprentice in front of the other medicine cats. Downpaw attacked him in retaliation, and Aspenheart accepted punishment as laid out by the one he hurt most: Softpaw. Barleytuft, however, succumbed to greencough before they could make amends with each other. As Softpaw and Aspenheart rebuilt their relationship without Barleytuft and Graybriar to connect them, tensions only rose with the Righteous Few. It came to a head when the leaders of the Few challenged Finchstar, who refused to back down. They slayed him on the Great Rock, stripping him of every life he had. Aspenheart returned to camp, a broken tom, passionless and alone.

LATE MEDICINE CAT
WindClan went to war to avenge their beloved leader, led by Morningpaw’s resistance, and the ancestors were able to break free from the hold of the wicked Righteous Leaders. Barleytuft, now a renewed StarClan warrior, gave Aspenheart the closure they so desperately needed, and they parted as brothers, to meet again in the stars. Things changed for WindClan, with Softpaw receiving her full name and Ravenstar becoming their leader. Aspenheart became aware of his dwindling presence in a youthful clan. He became content with it.

DEATH
Aspenheart's health took a toll on him in invisible ways, coming to a head on a Greenleaf night, when, surrounded by his clanmates, he passed away after a fatal seizure. Though he was hesitant to join the ranks of StarClan and leave WindClan behind, Finchstar arrived to help bring him home.

★ Beecloud
ThunderClan
Warrior BIOGRAPHY
KITHOOD
Beekit was born to Ferretnose after the death of his biological father, Beartooth. Harefoot stepped in as a surrogate father, and that was just fine by him. His surviving sister, Cedarkit, and his older brother’s kits were plenty of company in the nursery. However, it was hard to ignore that he was the spitting image of the father he had never met. After hearing all the stories, he felt he had a certain expectation to live up to.

APPRENTICESHIP
As an apprentice, Beepaw’s self esteem suffered due to his soft and imaginative nature. He didn’t understand why he was so little like his father… and of course, he wanted to make his mother pleased by taking up the space Beartooth left in her heart. Houndheart was left disabled, and later passed away, after a series of wounds near the end of Leafbare. Beepaw decided that he would try and be a better warrior and protect his kin. He spent a long time training, watching his sister receive her warrior name before him, but he was determined to make a place in the clan… whatever that was. When war came in the form of the Righteous Few, Beepaw was not strong enough to keep up his fight against the ghosts. He spent a majority of the battle watching over the recovering body of his leader, Oakstar. As it turns out, he was a pretty good rock. Feeling a little more sure of himself, he let his mother back into his life and prepared to be the warrior he really wanted to be.

EARLY WARRIORHOOD
Beecloud walked in a reality of his own, a laid-back and soothsaying warrior who enjoyed the beauty of the forest. He was still high-strung, and he had a certain disdain for predators. Under these circumstances, Beecloud met Snowflight. He rescued the RiverClan tom from a raccoon by Sunningrocks, and they became rather fond of each other. When things took scary and unprecedented turns in ThunderClan with the trial of the murderer Rainstrike, Beecloud began to dream about swimming across the river and leaving, where he could be with Snowflight and never worry about his home clan again. He experienced a period of great emotional strife.

MID WARRIORHOOD
Beecloud slowly began to grow into his position as a warrior in ThunderClan with the changing of the seasons. He received an apprentice, Sablepaw, who he felt a very strong sense of duty toward for the first time in his life. He enjoyed training with her and teaching her the ins and outs of clan life. He was fond of their patrols and felt that, at times, Lirista was already a better warrior than he was. Mentorship gave him a “foothold” in a sense, through which he could express his desires as a member of ThunderClan. At the same time, his blooming relationship with Robinloft became something more than childhood friendship. Torn between two words, Beecloud decided with a heavy heart for his friend Snowflight that he had to choose ThunderClan. He and Robinloft’s litter was born in Leafbare, in what felt like mere moments before the Asylum takeover. There was nothing he could do; it was over before it had even begun. The Asylum’s rule awakened a part of himself that he believed could only be unlocked in a situation as dire as this. His whole life, he felt far too timid to fight for ThunderClan. He didn’t understand the righteousness with which warriors battled… now, he did. These strong emotions culminated in an attack on an Asylum guard, a one-cat coup that failed miserable. The head of the roguish group, Eris, taught him and ThunderClan a lesson by brutally beating the warrior within a whisker of his life in the middle of camp. In his recovery, Beecloud dreamt of making good on his promise that this fight was not over. Using a tactic he overheard Kitefire discuss with a clanmate, he began instigating border fights to pass along coded information: the Mousehunt. StarClan, approving of this uprising, gave Beecloud the information he needed to take the Asylum by surprise and take back the forest.

DEATH
The Mousehunt stormed Fourtrees, where the imprisoned clan cats were being held, with Beecloud leading the charge. They engaged in a battle and swiftly overwhelmed the meager Asylum forces stationed there, and alone, Beecloud attacked Eris. In the moment, Eris revealed the truth of their bloodline, that she was Beecloud's niece, born of Ridgelight and Beartooth's daughter Freyja. The battle ended in the brutal deaths of both cats, and the end of the Asylum's reign. Beecloud died a hero.

ϟ Tavora
Former ShadowClan
Rogue BIOGRAPHY
KITHOOD
Tanglekit was born to Shadestrike, never knowing or understanding the true nature of her heritage. Shadestrike did not trouble her kits, Tanglekit or Eveningkit, with the terrible knowledge. The flat-faced little she-kit was known for an excitable, if not obnoxious, attitude.

APPRENTICESHIP
Tanglepaw was apprenticed to her own mother and was very pleased to begin her training. She was determined to become a permissible warrior... she wanted to be the best. She desired power and strength, and to be recognized for her talents. The plagues and the reign of the Righteous Few came in this time, and Tanglepaw struggled to grapple with it, along with the many deaths that came as a result. She felt very removed from it all. It was a quarrel for the warriors to deal with. Even in the great battle against the Righteous Leaders, she failed to grasp the weight of the circumstances. Even so, the circumstances troubled her greatly. Being so restricted, and so oppressed, warped her. She became more reserved, and more desperate to break free from what she saw as a bind. She became jealous of Eveningpaw's noteriety. She was the new Medicine Cat Apprentice. This position, in Tanglepaw's opinion, revealed softness and weakness. And Tanglepaw feared nothing, and would be felled by nothing. It was in this time that she met Iniko. He was freedom. He was escape. When Shadestrike perished from hunger and Eveningpaw ran off in her grief, Tanglepaw found herself collapsing into Iniko, her sweetheart. She was angry, and spiteful. Her worldview had been proven in her sister's betrayal. Her littermate had abandoned her. Not even blood mattered. There was no cat that could be relied on... except Inik, of course, with whom she was completely enthralled. Their loyalty to each other was the only bond in this world she bothered to keep. He was strong. The world was weak. Her ceremony hardly mattered a whisker to her. Her allegiance to ShadowClan meant nothing.

EARLY WARRIORHOOD
Iniko's kin, the Arcane Asylum, rolled into the forest in droves. Tanglerose was shocked, as she woke up from her slumber, to find that she and Flintstar alone were not attacked by these strange, pelted warriors. It seemed that Iniko had instructed them not to restrain her. They planned to continue building their empire, right here in the forest. Tanglerose accepted them wholeheartedly. The Asylum was strong, cunning, and the complete opposite of the Clans. They had no outdated code, and they did not fear change. They were everything Tanglerose wanted from her life. They were her ticket out. Iniko became her mate. Tanglerose planned to join the Asylum as a standard when the time was right.

BECOMING ASYLUM
It was not to be. Iniko perished protecting the queen Freckleface from a badger, and unbeknownst to her clan and herself, Tanglerose was pregnant. Consumed with rage and grief, Tanglerose denounced the weakness of ShadowClan which allowed her mate to die and ran from the camp, making her way to the Asylum encampment to profess her allegiance and take the name Iniko had decided for her: Tavora. Theron, intrigued by her mental instability, and seeing use in her, declared her a Nightstriker and gave her a raccoon's pelt. Tavora used this for quite some time to hide the evidence of her pregnancy. She spent her days terrorizing ShadowClan, appointing herself as the cat-in-charge, despite not being a captain of any sort. When her kits were too close to hide, she revealed herself to Rookfire, the medicine cat, and took leave for the barn on WindClan territory, telling no other cat where she was going. There, she gave birth to five kits: Pandora, who died shortly after, Faizah, Galloway, Hyacintha, and Kirabo. Something changed in her when her kits were born. Something broke, not in a shout, but in a whisper.

ALONE
The Asylum fell apart as silently as it had taken over. Tavora was unwilling to accept the defeat, nor her daughter Faizah's betrayal to join ShadowClan. Her narcissistic abuse of her kits was coming to a head. Tavora left her behind and stripped her of her Asylum name, taking the rest of her brood to find their own way across the mountains. But Tavora was still at war with herself, and she was losing.

DEATH
In a change of heart, Tavora suddenly became transfixed on punishing her daughter's disobedience. She took Hyacinth and Galloway back into ShadowClan land to kill Faizah, now named Rosepaw. The only way through while avoiding detection were the deep marshes, which Tavora had not traversed since apprenticeship. She engaged an argument with Galloway and slipped off the rocks. Unable to find her footing or swim up to the surface, Tavora drowned and descended into the Place of No Stars.

🍂 Ferretnose
ThunderClan
Elder BIOGRAPHY
KITHOOD
Ferretkit was often picked on, but she never really minded. She was a bright and talkative kit and took to Pricklepaw quickly, who in turn appreciated her presence. Her worst insecurity became her eye, which was clouded and blurry. It would only progressively become more and more blind as she aged. Her apprentice ceremony was a happy occasion, and she was excited to begin training with Pantherclaw.

APPRENTICESHIP
Leafbare was an unexciting and usual affair, but at the end of the season, Ferretpaw's apprenticeship would be struck by hardship. The Great Flood destroyed her home and forced half of her clan into the mountains. The other half were swept away, believed to have perished in the water. ThunderClan, lead by Pricklebush, followed RiverClan and ShadowClan to higher ground to seek asylum with the Tribe of Rushing Water. After what felt like moons, Jaystar of RiverClan received a vision that spurred the clans to return home. In an epic battle against the stray dogs who had also hidden from the storm in the mountains, Blizzardshine gave her life to end the fighting. ThunderClan returned to the forest to find those they thought perished had survived and returned home as well. Ferretpaw soon earned her warrior name, Ferretnose.

EARLY WARRIORHOOD
Over the course of a moon, warriors who had been lost in the flood returned, including Harefoot. Ferretnose took on her duties without complaint and became close with Harefoot and Mossbloom. After a border scuffle gone awfully wrong, Beartooth took Ferretnose to learn how to walk without use of her eyes. After her apprentice, Hazelpaw, was killed by a fox, she found comfort in Mossbloom's den as their friendship grew stronger.

MID WARRIORHOOD
As Ferretnose's bonds with her clanmates grew, as did her confidence in herself, coming to a peak when ThunderClan joined SkyClan in a march to war with SkyClan. For the first time in her life, Ferretnose felt she had something to fight for, defeating two cats before the battle was brought to a jarring close with the death of a SkyClan apprentice. After the war, Ferretnose confessed her love for Beartooth and Harefoot and their relationship as mates was confirmed at last. Following the war with ShadowClan, Oakstar established the night guard in case of retaliation under Thornstar's leadership, which Ferretnose was eager to partake in. She soon discovered her pregnancy... but good things do not last forever. Beartooth was soon found dead in the snow, presumed to have collapsed from exhaustion. He was mourned dearly by the entire clan and succeeded by his son by Ridgelight, Houndheart. It was a decision Ferretnose was not fond of, and she warned Houndheart to tread lightly when her kits were born. She soon gave birth to 6 healthy kits, ushering in a new era of happiness for her and her surviving mate, Harefoot.

LATE WARRIORHOOD
As her two surviving kits, Cedarheart and Beecloud, grew into their own, Ferretnose settled into a routine once more. Upon the arrival of the Righteous Few, her second apprentice, Rainstrike, began to withdraw from the clan and become bitter, for reasons Ferretnose did not understand. She stood up for Rainstrike at every opportunity, believing her to not be beyond redemption, and excusing her outbursts as loneliness and misunderstanding. She was too blinded by love to see the darkness growing in her apprentice's heart. She would later give birth to 3 kits by Harefoot, two of which passing, leaving Pinekit an only child. After a particularly nasty battle with a pair of dogs, she began entertaining the notion of retirement... perhaps after Pinepaw became a warrior. This reckoning came sooner than she would have hoped. Rainstrike was outed as having attacked her clanmates, and Ferretnose could no longer defend her apprentice. When the she-cat was exiled, Ferretnose found her wandering the territory and attempted a resolution with her. The argument turned to a battle, and Ferretnose fell into the river, where she believed Rainstrike tried to drown her knowing that she could not swim. She never saw Rainstrike again. She decided shortly after to spend the time she had left in this life in the Elders’ Den with her beloved.

ELDERHOOD
In her retirement, Ferretnose found her eyesight was deteriorating in her good eye, bringing her closer and closer to complete blindness. Harefoot passed away peacefully from Leafbare illness, leaving her widowed after moons together as mates. When the Asylum attacked, she took the position of passivity, believing that it was not an elder’s duty to fight for the clan. That responsibility fell to the youth of ThunderClan, a responsibility which she watched her son take on to defend her honor, a risk he paid for with his face. She watched as her son took all of this in stride, eventually growing to the status of a quiet revolutionary with the founding of the Mousehunt. Though he would not share the details of this rennegade group with his mother, she knew as well as he did that the time was coming for the end of all things... it would be him or Eris. She knew, when his body returned to camp, slain in the glory of war, that his fathers were there to greet him in StarClan.

DEATH
In the moons following her son's death, Ferretnose began to lose her sense of self as her long-lived existence came to a quiet end. She died peacefully, as a result of the growing dementia she was experiencing, surrounded by her clan after a long and fruitful life, dedicated to the service of ThunderClan. She will not soon be forgotten.
