Wingfeather turn to see that his mate was being attacked by 2 enemy cats. Timing his pounce carefully, he lunged for the biggest one, grabbing him with the scruff of his neck. His attacker rolled causing him to lose his grip, and hit the ground winded, looking up he saw his enemy approach him, but his vision seemed to be fading and the last thing he saw and feel was his attacker putting his paw on his throat cutting off his breathing.
