The Dark forest: The capture of Swiftstar

Swiftstar awoke hazily in a moonless/starless area, surrounded by trees. He recognized it as the Dark Forest instantly, right before someone pounced on him like he was prey. Laughter erupted around him, as if cats took joy in his pain.

Awoken in this dark place as well, Rainfall immediately bristled. She'd been here before, and it hadn't been a pleasant visit. Yet she knew she was here for a reason, and that reason showed itself to her immediately. She scented Swiftstar, and took off without hesitation.

"Rainfall, wait!" Moonsage hissed from the bushes.

He staggered to his paws, but a snake bit him, making him stagger and drop. The cat came over and gave him a long gash on his side. A screeching yowl split the air.

Ghostpaw found herself in a bush. Her fur was tangled but she didn't care. She crawled out, fur ripping away, and found herself in the place she had gone to with Brightfire. "The Dark Forest..." she whispered to herself. She noticed Moonsage and an unfamiliar cat. She raced to catch up. "Moonsage!"

OOC: can I join? I happen to have some knowledge and a killer of the Dark Forest...

"Ssh!" Moonsage snapped. "Do you want them to catch us?!"

Rainfall had stopped herself, but when Swiftstar yowled, she couldn't hold back. She leapt out and plowed over the cat who had slashed her mate.

Ghostpaw shrinked to the ground. "S-sorry Moonsage.: she apologized heart-fully. She watched the she-cat run off and felt the need to run after her. So she did without even looking back at Moonsage.

"Rainfall! Ghostpaw! You MOUSE-BRAINED FOOLS!" He growled. "This isn't StarClan----"

Suddenly, crowds of rogues came into view. They all shrank back, however, as the living cats had a light glow to them. However, 2 big toms appeared, hissing. Swiftstar stumbled to his feet, muttering, but one tom back kicked him, sending him sprawling backwards. Then they advanced on Rainfall, Moonsage, and Ghostpaw.

Rainfall yowled when the massive tom kicked Swiftstar, but she couldn't get past them. Not without fighting them. She performed a Front Paw Strike, dealing 12 Damage and 10 Stamina.

"No, don't fight! You CAN'T win here! Run away!" Some of the ex- Clan cats... er, rogues, attacked Moonsage, his warnings ceased.

Ghostpaw preformed a Belly rake on one of the rouges that dared to attack Moonsage. Dealing a mere 7 damage and taking 10 stamina.

Swiftstar hissed, his eyes glowing - more or less literally. He almost flew at one rouge, ripping his claws along his spine, damaging it badly, and causing 25 damage, and costing him 60 SP.
