| I thought I'd give it a shot!
Cat Name : Sagepaw
Clan : SkyClan
What are the duties of a medicine cat : To heal the sick and injured. To commune with StarClan and provide guidance to your Clan. To become familiar with all the herbs and medicinal objects in the forest in order to provide your Clan with the best care.
What you would do with this position : Sagepaw is loyal to his Clan and has had an interest in herbs and things since he was a kit. If he got this position he would always serve with a smile and would do his very best to support his Clan and his Clanmates. He always strives to do the right thing and wants to do well by his Clan. Although he doesn't admit it, he isn't the best at hunting and fighting due to his disabilities so he would much rather prefer to stay in the MC den anyway. Although rather immature and naïve at times, this position would help him grow into a wonderful young tom.
Why you think you deserve this position : I have always loved the medicine cats and the idea of a medicine cat and I want to try my hand at writing one! Sagepaw would be a bit of an unconvential MCA, as he would probably come into it as a warrior, but fighting was never really his strong suit. He's not a natural fighter. He likes helping people and talking to people so this would be a good path for him to take. Because of his hearing and vision issues, he would be good at herb hunting due to his stronger than average sense of smell. Fighting is disorienting to him. (also this is a good plot thing for him to do oop)
