Lightningpaw's First Day

Graystream stood in the middle of the camp waiting for Lightningpaw to appear.

Lightningpaw padded into the clearing. It was her first day as an apprentice! " Hi, Greystream!" She said.


OOC: I left unexpectedly! Sooo sorry bout that..

OOC: It's fine, next time just say if you're gonna be gone for a while. :)

IC: "Hi, Lightningpaw. Ready to head out?" Graystream asked, it would be her first time to explore the main Territory and see the border of two other clans.

" Yes! Are we going to see all the borders? Are we gonna explore the whole territory!?" Lightningpaw said excitedly, even
though she knew they would not get through the whole territoiry in a day.

"We'll see the RiverClan and ShadowClan Borders," He replied cheerfully, it lifted his spirits at Lightningpaw's enthusiasm. "What would you like to see first? RiverClan's Border or ShadowClan's Border?" He asked as he stood in front of the gorse tunnel.

"Ummm... RiverClans Border!"Lightningpaw said. She wanted to see the river. Plus he had heard that ShadowClan smelled icky.

"Alright," Graystream meowed as they set off. After a long trek through the forest they had reached the border, "This is Sunningrocks, and that is the RiverClan Border," He meowed as he walked close to it, "I'll show you how to mark ThunderClan's scent." Graystream marked half the border and left the other half for Lightningpaw. "Now you try."

"Ok," said Lightningpaw.She marked the other half.

"Do you smell that in the air?" Graystream asked as he lifted his head and pointed to the RiverClan Border, "That's RiverClan Scent, you need to learn the scent's of all three other Clans." He finished as he waited for Lightningpaw's reply.

"Hmm.. Smells.... Fishy" Lightningpaw said after taking a couple sniffs.

"Yes, RiverClan mainly eat fish to feed their Clan." Graystream answered as he began to pad to the ShadowClan Border. When they arrived he pointed to this border. "Now set the border with ShadowClan please."

"Hmm.... Wonder what fish taste like.." Lightningpaw said, then she did what her mentor asked. "ShodowClan smells yucky!" She said crinkling her nose.

"Yeah, most cats outside ShadowClan don't like their scent very much." He explained as watched Lightningpaw finish seting the border. "Well, that's it. We can head back to camp now if you want?" He asked as his tail moved slowly from side to side.

"Okay. I'm hungry anyways. What will we do tomorrow?" Lightningpaw asked. She was eager to learn more about her territoiry, or to learn to hunt and fight.

"Tomorrow I'll take you on you're first Hunting Patrol." Graystream meowed happily as he signaled for Lightningpaw to head back to camp. "You should get some rest before tomorrow." He added as he began to go back to camp with her.
