| Hawkpaw stared into the water, watching the fish go by. She lied down and sat there for a long while. But then, she saw something in the corner of her eye. A long snake-like thing was swimming at the bottom of the river. Hawkpaw was too scared to go in. She looked closely, with the help of the sunlight. It wasn't an eel, and it wasn't a snake. It las very long. It flashed a glance at Hawkpaw. She sprang back in fear. ______________________________________ RiverClan Medicine CatHawkpath- Beloved Medicine Cat of RiverClan.
