''One of them is going to laugh,I know so.Go ahead,get it out of your system.''Emeraldkit continued to stare endlessly at graystream.

"Emeraldkit, it's okay." Moonpaw said. "Graystream is a great cat, he wouldn't laugh at you-would you Graystream?" she asked him. "And remember what I promised you and your mother, I'm to take care of you and cats who make fun of you are going to put up with me, remember?"

Emeraldkit nodded.

Graystream let his eyes gaze over Emeraldkit's pelt, "I think of it as, unique," He meowed as his eyes lit with understanding and a small smile crossed his face, "I would know from personal experience. My sister was blue, and for the brief period she was with me she would be picked on a lot," He continued as he let himself go on, "But when we were born our mother died very shortly after child birth." He flinched at the memory but continued, "My dad was shocked, he couldn't take it to the point that he left me and my sister in the Clans. My sister wanted to go with him, but he just ended up giving her to a two-legs nest," Graystream finished as he returned to his usual self, "What I mean is, I know first hand that a cat that looks a little different, or is a bit of an odd ball, can often feel left out or made fun of, but if that ever happens to you, just give me a call." Graystream finished, by the end his tail was slowly moving from side to side, pointed up, and he was smiling. He masked the saddness he felt by his memory, not intenet on letting anyone worry about him.

"Dont worry about it Graystream!My brother had the same thing happen to him except he was captured by the twolegs!"Windpaw said thinking about Speedy.

''Really? I'm...not the only one?''Emeraldkit started to feel her mucles loosen.

"See, you're not alone," Graystream meowed, his voice calm and soothing as he went on, "Don't let people get to you, besides, you have Moonpaw to look after you," He shot Moonpaw a quick grateful glance, "She's an excellent Medicine Cat Apprentice, I know that from personal experience as well," He meowed as he looked at Moonpaw, remembering the time she had saved him from a nasty gash he had across is flank, "And I'm sure she'll do her best to look after you," Graystream finished as he gave Emeraldkit a comforting glance. He then looked over at Windpaw, "I'm fine, I've learned to cheer myself up from the bad memories, not to let them get me down," He mewed as he settled down in a nice patch of grass and let his tail swing from side to side. He then let out a small chuckle, "It's funny, I'm chatting with a group of WindClan cats like it's just another day in the Clan." He added, but there was no hostility in his mew.

"Same here!I was chatting with other apprentices earlier today!"Windpaw said

Emeraldkit yawned,and curled up in between moonpaws legs.

Graystream looked over at Emeraldkit and noticed she was about to fall asleep. He couldn't help but let a smile come on his face at the sight, he loves Kits. "I guess I should be leaving soon," He mewed quietly enough so that he didn't disturb Emeraldkit, "I'll see you later," His mew was happy as he gave both Moonpaw and Windpaw a polite nod with his head before padding away. His tail flicked in goodbye right before he vanished out of sight.

"I hope i become someone like Graystream."Windpaw said thinking about how noble Graystream is.

Swiftpaw found him padding around. He heard about Emeraldkit afraid of getting made fun of. He mewed "We'll, my brother he lives with Twolegs. And he has green spots. He's a tabby with Green Spots. So never think you're the only one"

Leopardpaw skidded to a stop between the two cats. "Uhhhh....Oooopppps!" she said, blushing.

"Well, I guess I should take Emeraldkit somewhere else, so you guys can talk." Moonpaw said. She gently picked Emeraldkit up by the scruff and left.

Emeraldkit woke up.She started wriggling''Put me down!''Emeraldkit squirmed.
