| Sandpaw's eyes widened as she saw cats being swept away just a few lengths behind from her. She felt panic rise in her chest as she began to run as fast as she could.
"Ahh!" she wailed as the water took her with it. She paddled as fast as she could, managing to stay afloat. She was scared to where this was taking her and her clan-mates.

| Swoopnose kept running. As everything around him and inside him fell apart, he tried to shut it out, and just run. It would all be over soon. Maybe he could even be lucky enough for this to be a dream and he would just wake up soon. Yowls sounded behind him, and he turned around to see a giant wave of water rushing towards him. After a moment of shock, he resumed running, this time even faster, but it was too late. As a huge wave crashed down around him, he felt himself being swept off his paws. In a moment of panic, his paws flailed about, and his claws managed to catch on a tree. Using all his strength, he managed to pull himself above the water and wait until the wave passed. The current was still far stronger than it was before, but the initial force had died down. Taking a deep breath, he ran after the rest of his clanmates towards wherever safety may be. ______________________________________ Petalpaw - Barkkit - Sunpaw ShadowClan - ThunderClan - WindClan Apprentice - Kit - Apprentice

| The rain fell thick and heavy, as it had for what felt like several moons. Her pelt was sodden with water as she ran back towards camp. Only a few moments ago, she had been playing about on the rocks at sunningrocks. Admiring the new sheen they seemed to gather when wet and damp. With Riverclan likely asleep, it felt unlikely that any of them would stop her. The river however, was swollen and over flowing into the grass around it. The bank seemingly forgotten as water flooded the ground. Fear struck her then, and she ran back towards camp as quick as she could with all the mud that made her slide and slip the entire way.
For a heartbeat, panic overwhelmed her as she heard a thunderous crack echo throughout the sky. Her paws reached the edge of the gorge just in time to see cats gathered at the top. Just in time to see the wave coming right towards her. Her jaws parted in a terrified yowl as the wave bashed into her. It sent her deep into the wave of debris and mud as she scrabbed around for a hold somewhere. The water surging around her and twisting around the trees dangerously, sending objects cracking into the massive trunks as she held onto a large branch for dear life. ______________________________________ Kestrelpaw ♀ Marshkit ♂

| Violetfall scrambled for the safety of the trees as the waters rose swiftly around her. She scrambled for the nearest tree, a small and flimsy oak. The she-cat clawed her way up it, before realizing in dismay that it was too far to jump to another tree. A loud crack rang through the air, and she found herself suddenly forced to the ground by a huge wall of water. Her eyes remained wide open with shock, even under the rushing darkness. Though the water was dark and full of debris, silhouettes of other cats flashed in the corners of her eyes. She struggled against the current which shook her back and forth like a tiny piece of prey, as she was slammed against yet another tree trunk. She gasped desperately for air as the breath she had left was knocked out of her by the impact, only to find that she was still held under the water. Her claws snagged a branch, but she did not manage to hold on. Once more, she was forced downwards by the current. Her lungs were burning and she fought to the point of exhaustion with her limbs, but to no avail. Her head snapped back and then came down hard on a sharp rock.
Violetfall's limp body twisted and contorted with the current of the water. It was cold and lifeless, only a shadow now of a warrior of ThunderClan. ______________________________________ ☆ dancer ☆ adventurer ☆ astronomy enthusiast ☆

| As Echofrost waded through the waters, he could see the gorge. "We're almost there!" He cried joyously. He spoke to soon. Like a huge wave, it crashed over the group of cats as they rushed towards the gorge. Echofrost barely managed to grab onto a branch as the rushing torrent swept cats off to their deaths. There was nothing he could do but climb higher, trying to escape the floodwaters. Why?! Why is this happening?! Echofrost looked up at the stars. | Blizzardshine was a bit…annoyed at first, to say the least. This had been the first nice dream she had in so many moons. The beauty of Greenleaf, Artemis walking at her side as their kits frolicked on the undergrowth of the territory under the warm sun. Only laughter, only happiness…a dream she wished she could’ve stayed in longer.
However, annoyance gave way to urgency as she heard the yowls of her clanmates and her mind finally registered the water that clung to her long fur. She basically jumped onto her paws, not even caring about her somewhat messy fur or the bits of moss stuck in it. While her emotions were all over the place, she didn’t let that panic consume her and become an obstacle instead. She pent literally no time on rushing to the nursery and evacuating the kits and queens, nor to going to the elders den and the apprentice’s den to do the same as soon as the rest of the clan took over that task.
As it was customary with the white she-cat, she was between the very last ones to leave camp, if not the last, refusing to leave anyone behind, even if that put herself at risk. Only when Leopardstar and her were the last ones behind she finally followed, giving a smile at him as she did…it was in small actions like this one she knew she had made the right choice when appointing Leopardstar as deputy. She walked quickly, keeping a close eye on the crowd of cats ahead of her in case anyone started to lag behind. She may not be the biggest or strongest cat in the clan, but if needed to, she was more than willing to carry another cat on her shoulders should it come to it. She even picked up a kit who was starting to fall behind, not even stopping to check who it was. There was no time for it.
A smile made it to the she-cat’s muzzle when the clan started to reach the gorge….only to be taken away as soon as the deafening boom reached her, making her ears drop and body shiver. She turned around just in time, eyes going wide and fur raising as the great wave approached. It was like if the world had suddenly gone into slow motion for her, she turned around, claws digging into the muddy earth as she tried to look and reach her kits in order to protect them from this water that approached the clan like a roaring beast. It was a silly thought, yes, there was nothing she could do to fight this wave…but her head didn’t think about that, she could only think on her kits, and that they were in danger.
It wasn’t long before she felt the water hit against her with all her strength, caught mid-leap, she couldn’t offer any resistance to it. The white cat was left in shock for half a second before blinking, her paws acting completely out of instinct. She was no riverclanner, she was no expert swimmer, but she knew better than to just give up…especially when she had a little it hanguing from her jaws that could drown shouldn’t she act quick. As a reward from StarClan for such action, soon her extended claws found themselves dug on the wet surface of a tree that was somehow resisting the water’s rage. She found herself thanking StarClan for her mixed ancestry, as her hooked claws managed to find a nice grip on it. It took a lot of effort, but she didn’t pay any mind to it as she got out of the roaring waters and onto a branch. Almost right away she put the kit down, checking on their health.

Streampaw was startled awake by the screams, claws out and ears high. Was this an invasion, by any chance? No, it soon clicked it wasn’t. Instead of joining the yelling crowd of panicking cats he was quick to rush towards the other dens, basically jumping onto any cat who somehow was still asleep to wake them up by force, as well as drag out and force any cat that he noticed was starting to enter into panic back into their senses. Yes, the situation was getting out of paw, and quickly, but that was more reason to keep your head on your shoulders.
While everyone rushed to the dens of the others, he rushed into the Medicine Cat den. He knew nothing of most of these herbs, but he knew one thing and that was enough: They saved lives. They were evacuating the camp, and there was no way he was going to let anyone die due to lack of herbs if they got injured or sick out there and for some reason medicine cats could not gather the herbs needed. He grabbed the biggest leaf he could find and started to throw as many herbs, seeds, supplies and basically anything as he could in it before closing it to the best of his abilities and carrying it out. It was a bit heavy and clenching his teeth so tight around the leaf left a bit of a foul aftertaste, he made sure to not swallow any of the juices just in case, but he couldn’t care less.
He rushed after the leaving group with the precious bundle tightly grasped on his jaw, to the point his teeth ached, his neck complaining a bit for the weight. He was just glad he was already warrior sized, otherwise carrying the herbs would’ve been extremely difficult if not impossible. He was panting lightly when the clan reached the gorge.
Relief was short...because that’s when he heard it. He turned around to face the sound only to see the wall of water. As first frozen like a deer on headlights at the terrifying sight, he could only think on curling up slightly at the very last second, turning around, just to feel the strong hit of the water push him off his feet.
He felt like yowling and the water literally sent him spinning forwards thanks to the position he had taken, making it impossible for him to swim even if he knew how to. But his jaws stood clenched tightly around the bundle of herbs he had managed to save from camp, too stubborn to risk letting it go and losing it in the raging waters that kept throwing him from side to side like a little leaf on a storm. The times he somehow managed to get some oxygen into his lungs were few and far between, but he made his best to keep himself calm to not waste energy unnecessarily and risk drowning. He had no idea of where the current was taking him, but he was determined to stay alive.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bonewatcher had been restless that night, something uncommon for the usually lazy warrior that only wanted to sleep the day away. He had this odd gut feeling, that something wasn’t quite right, it kept nagging at the back of its head and kept him from falling asleep. It wasn’t until the water soaked him and the screams started that it clicked for some reason.
With loud huff he got up and rushed out of the warrior’s den, looking around at the increasingly growing chaos with narrowed eyes before turning around and looking around in the crowd for Flintfang, Bushfang and Bluepaw. As awful as it would sound, he didn’t really give a rat’s tail for anyone else at the time, he had only decided to take the path of the warrior, the very same path he had loathed even before being named apprentice, to protect his dying out family, and that’s exactly what he was going to do.
He barely heard the orders given by the leader and deputy, but when they finally clicked he kind of agreed with them. They had to find higher ground, and quick, the camp wasn’t safe to stay. Keeping his usual smile and a calm, collected attitude even during the panic, he started to walk out next to his family, ears twitching constantly as he tried to pick up as many conversations as possible to know how the clan was doing…not too bad so far, he guessed.
The trip to the gorge surely felt longer than it truly was, but even there, he knew this place was simply not safe still. His eyes traveled to the two leading cats of the clan, questioning them without words, surely they were smart enough to acknowledge they couldn’t stay there even if it was considered “higher grounds”, right?
It was then when the near-deafening sound of something breaking echoed across the forest, the huge wave of roaring water quickly following. Unlike most of his clanmates, his expression or position barely shifted. He only closed his eyes, took a deep breath and waited. There was no outrunning this, there was no fighting it…and he knew it.
He had to hold back a yowl of pain as the wave crashed against his body, not wanting to let go of the oxygen he had managed to fill his lungs with. He immediately started to move his legs, not fighting the current but instead going with it to save energy while looking around the best he could. His efforts soon paid off as he saw a tree trunk approaching, moving just enough to let his hooked claws sink into its bark and started climbing it slowly but steadily to not lose such grip. He didn’t notice how bad his lungs were burning until he finally was out of the water and he released the trapped air from them to refill them with fresh oxygen. He was dizzy, but that didn’t kept him from reaching g a sturdy branch to lay on and wait for the wave to pass. ______________________________________ Stormkit Windclan Kit [10HP || 30SP]
| Harefoot was peacefully asleep, completely unaware of the danger until the echoes of screams of fear reached his ears. He woke with a start, surprised to see water sloshing around the den and utterly confused. Where was everyone else? The young warrior's sense of panic rose quickly, and he felt as though he would choke for his sudden inability to breathe. Where was Beartooth? Flamerose? Flintfang? Suddenly, the voices of cats from the camp registered in his mind. Leopardstar, Marshstorm, and Pricklebush yowled orders barely above the din of cats yelling for their loved ones and the threatening sloshing of the water pouring into the ravine. His panic was completely overtaken by sheer terror, and his green eyes bulged wide as he darted from the den to see cats struggling through the water and up the steep ravine that would ensure their death if they stayed. Harefoot stood completely still, paralyzed by fear, until the sound of Flamerose's voice reached him above all the rest. He whipped his head around, spotting his friend, before he realized he had to make sure Honeypaw was okay. Harefoot darted around camp before finding Honeypaw in the center of camp. He was about to yell at him to run when a large crash echoed across what must have been the whole world. And then the filthy wave rose before the helpless cats. It was Honeypaw's quick movement up a tree that finally ripped his attention away, and he followed him up and settled on a rather high branch to escape the deluge.
Dawnpaw was done with all the rain; it dampened her thick pelt and made it cling to her muscled frame, dragging her down and making her heavier. She was still a large cat without her fur fluffed up, roughly the size of an adult tom. She was in the apprentices' den when she heard the first call. Duskapw was nowhere to be seen- the medicine den, perhaps? She was caught up in the storm of cats rushing about camp, too stuck in the crowd to get anywhere close to the medicine den to find her brother. Dawnpaw grew angry as her path to the den was blocked, becoming desperate to reach her only ThunderClan kin and starting to shove people out of the way. She had finally reached her destination when the crash sounded, and she paused in confusion to glance up at the ravine. She was enraptured. Perhaps the only still cat in camp, Dawnpaw's yellow eyes remained wide open and focused on her imminent death, at a loss for even a thought of survival. The wave crashed down, sweeping warrior and apprentice alike without discrimination. The she-cat was dragged along with it, the strength of the sweeping water unstoppable, and she shut her eyes and let out a wail that was silenced by the water that filled her lungs. ______________________________________ Sun // Living Characters // Deceased Characters
| Cedarpaw was abruptly awoken by other apprentices fleeing the den. The young tom immediately jumped to his paws and ran. It took him a few seconds to realize why he was running. Water was everywhere, it looked like he imagined RiverClan's camp to look like, but worse. The apprentice didn't know exactly what he should be doing so he just listened to instructions of the other cats.
Before he got anywhere to help anyone or leave camp, the crack sounded through the air. A few heartbeats later the wave rushed through ThunderClan's camp. Cedarpaw tried to run for a tree and climb it as quick as he could, but the rush of the water carried him away. The young cat tried to stay above the water's surface to be able to keep breathing, but he was struggling. Soon enough whether it was from lack of oxygen or the shock the world went black. ______________________________________ - Cedar:
