Words Fall on Deaf Ears (Approved)

Curlyfeather is prone to long walks in the forest by herself. They help her to mull over life. On one of them, she witnesses what she thinks to be a Forbidden Romance, with Blazeflight being guilty. Scared and not understanding what was going on, she musters up the courage to investigate. But as she goes to talk to the cat, they run away and she is left without context. For a day, she goes back to normal duties and tries to ignore it. That doesn't work, because she thinks she let someone get away with something unforgivable. So she confronts Blaze, asking what had happened. She explains to her what really happened, and tell her there is no need to talk to other cats about it. The only part her deaf self understands is not to tell anyone, which she believes is a threat. Now sure that she had been right and this clanmate is a danger, she reports to Scorchfang stating her suspicions. He talks to Blaze and find out what really happened, and tell Curly she was wrong and it isn't a big deal. But she is mortified, and thinks that she should have realized what was happening and not accused an innocent cat. Rainbow sees how upset she is and decides to make her even more uncomfortable through words, and their verbal fight turns physical when she attacks. After they break apart, she realizes that she didn't only do the wrong thing, but she attacked someone because they knew it was true. Thinking this makes her the worst clanmate possible, she decides she has to leave. Going to the Thunderpath with the intention of killing herself, she walks right on and waits for a monster. But she chickens out at the last second, and tries to escape. Unfortunately, one of her back legs is hit and is broken. One of her clanmates finds her and brings her back to camp. It is determined that with her limp and deafness combined, she cannot become a warrior. But for the first time ever, Curly isn't upset by that. She realizes that it is only because her clanmates care for her that they made that decision, and she can still contribute to her clan.

Note: This should only take about 4 topics (plus elder ceremony). I would like it to be quick and not go on for more than two or three weeks.

I feel this is a nice direction for Curlyfeather to take, because she'll finally find some happiness in the end. I want the sweet kitty baby to be happy. <3

Thanks! I was leaning towards Scorchfang over Littlestar anyway, because she knows him better.

Mudfoot is available to be the cat that finds her and brings her back to camp. He's one of the oldest warrior's in the clan and is Littlestar's mate, so I'd assume she knows him. Maybe not personally, but enough for him to rescue and reassure her :)

I was gonna offer Crowfur as the cat that brings her back but Ice offered first ^^ Crow will just visit Curly in the elder's den then :)

By the way, the accused cat doesn't have to be anyone special. Just burying a dead kitypet or talking to a cat in a different clan would get Curly suspicious.

Also, for the cat she attacks, I just need a defensive and angsty kitty.

I'm always down for having Blaze be the one who she accuses! Because she totally needs more heartbreak!

Blaze tries her best to be a social cat, despite her missing leg and the hindrance it is to her daily activities. She could be talking to any old cat that she maybe talked to at a gathering and is now passing by them at the border, and wanted to catch up with them :D

Blazeflight sounds awesome! Just tell me when you've found a cat for her to talk to.

Marshstorm can talk to Blazeflight. As a former Shadowclan cat (now Thunderclan) he still holds a respect for his birth clan and wouldn't attack a cat that was injured and not intending offence. That or Featherheart could sneak out of the medicine den, whomever you'd prefer 8D

I've been talking to ginger via PM, and Rainbow will probably end up getting the attacked cat role.
