why i haven't been on recently

hi yes so
this didn't really matter enough to put on member announcements, but I think y'all deserve an explanation for my iffy rping over the past week or so.

So a few of you guys know that I got a cat a few weeks ago. We renamed her juniper and she's the sweetest, prettiest little calico kitty ever. Since I lost all of my childhood pets this year, including my old cat Abby, I had a little bit of anxiety about Junibug. Luckily, she fits right in and is very friendly.
But since 2018 is the year of the bad, this wasn't meant to last. A week ago, Juni stopped eating. We took her in after a few days and the vets drew some blood. We hoped it was just a bit of shelter shock or nervousness, but unfortunately, Junibug has a terminal kidney disease. The vets aren't quite sure what form of kidney disease yet, but they're almost certain that it is lethal and incurable, since a kidney transplant isn't an option for us.
Anyways, I've been spending as much time as possible with Juni recently. I know it's not an excuse for my recent inactivity, especially because of my Medicine Cat. I'll try to be on WCC at least once a day, but I can't guarantee anything. ;-; sorry!

Go spend time with your kitty, both her and you deserve it. Sick pets are no fun, and I hate that the both of you have to go through that. We're here for you, Drip! Don't worry about posting for now, we'll figure something out later~

I understand your pain, and I offer you my deepest sympathy. I lost my own cat on Sunday to Kidney Disease, and I understand that it hurts a lot. Hold Juniper close, give her lots of affection. I hope she pulls through for you, I really do.

Junibug is around 5 years old, although we think she may be a bit younger. She's a real lovebug, and definitely thinks she's a little human.

My babby is really unique because she actually has green eyes, which I've heard is a bit rare for a Calico~
