Pinepaw's Hunting Patrol (Bloo and Pine)

Bluestar leapt down from the highstone after surveying the camp. She padded to meet Pinepaw by the freshkill pile. "Hunting patrol." She mewed.

Pinepaw looked up anxiously. "Already!?" (NO PLEASE DON'T PUT IT ASIDE.. XD) She sat to lick her tail and looked up. "Are we bringing anyone else??"

OOC: Sorry for joining, but can Moonpaw and I come, if shes up to it

OOC: Sure !! ^^

IC: "I guess so, maybe Mudpuddle and Moonpaw could come with us. How does that sound?" She asked Pinepaw.

OOC: 'xcuse my double post...


IC: Bluestar padded out of camp with Pinepaw at her heels. As soon as they reached the river, Bluestar stopped. "Pinepaw, what do you smell?"

"Good." Pinepaw said.

When they reached the river she sniffed. She kept her ears up. "Fish," she mewed. She stepped forward and sniffed some more. "And a stale trace of a mouse followed by a.." Pinepaw sniffed again. "I can't quite tell what was following it."

OOC: Yes siry! C'mon! Don't we wanna be the strongest clan for the battle of the clan TCHA!!!!

IC: Bluestar opened her mouth, drawing in scents. Her eyes widened. "A ThunderClan cat who desguised their scent!" She gasped.

Pinepaw couldn't help but let out a chuckle. She sniffed the ground and lifted her head. "It doesn't smell like it was too long ago, either."

Bluestar stalked forward beside the river. "Let's see if we can find if they killed it." She mewed, without turning her head.

Pinepaw kept her eyes and ears alert. She tripped face first into the ground. She let out a small hiss and got herself up. Her paw was stuck in a hole. She tugged her paw out and fell backwards. Pinepaw examined her paw. It was pelted with dirt and mouse hairs. She stated her opinion, "I think a ThunderClan cat chased a mouse and it went into this hole." She bent down and sniffed lightly. "I smell fresh mouse in here." she mewed. Quickly, she unsheathed her claws and started digging. She felt something soft and it bolted out of the hole. "There!" she hissed. Pinepaw scrabbled on the dirt and gave chase. "Come on, Bluestar!" she meowed.

ooc: too much for ya, blueh? ;3

OOC: Uuuuhhhhhhh, no?? XD

IC: Bluestar followed, shoulder to shoulder with Pinepaw.

Pinepaw leapt at the small mouse. She felt the fur scrape her claws. With a swipe, the mouse was in the safety of the bushes. "Dang it!" she hissed.

Bluestar skidded to a stop. "Don't worry, I've never had a liking for mice anyway."
With that, she headed over to the river. She slashed her claws over the water, knocking the fish into the air, and slamming it against the ground, claws unsheathed. She gave it a quick nip, and buried it in the reeds.
