a terrible hunt [closed]

Nightshade gasped for air as she laid on the ground, dazed. She struggled to remember what was going on. Them the memories began flooding into her head. She was hunting and a fox came along, and it threw her into a tree. She shook her head and slowly tried getting up, but fell over. She shook her head once more and picked herself up, staggering as she did.

IC: Spotfur gasped and turned as his son fell in. Without hesitation, he leaped in after him. His son was not dying. Not after all this. He grasped the scruff barely, pulling his son to the surface. Please... don't drown...

Smokewish’s blood boiled. This beast needed to pay. With a worried glance at her daughter, the grey warrior reared up, slashing at her opponent’s muzzle before coming back down again.

Smokewish used Rear-up to Slash, dealing damage and costing stamina.

Mudpaw tried to help by kicking t the water but he didn't know how to swim. His father was trying to pull him out while the river was trying to pull him in. Just then a huge rush of water came and knocked Mudpaw away from Spotfur. He fell in the water the least thing in his vision was his fathers sad eyes as he drowned. His limp body came back up and washed to shore. His head was bleeding from where a rock on the bottom floor hit him but his limp body just layed there cold and lifeless.

Nightshade stood up, ignoring the pain she was in. She felt the blood rush into her ears as she charged at the fox, furious. With a wild flare in her eyes she charged herself at the fox, and rushed into it's side, trying to knock it over. She achieved her goal, the fox was knocked over. She was about to go for another blow, but instead she once more felt the sting of teeth digging into her dark pelt. Her blue eyes were wide with fear. She cried out in pain as the iron jaws clamped onto her body. Before she knew it, she hit a tree with a loud thud. She panted as it was hard to breathe. She tried getting up, but she couldn't. Her whole body stung. The rise and fall of her chest started to shallow. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. She tried to say one last thing, but it just came out as an intelligible stutter. She looked at her mother with mournful eyes, and took her final breath. The light faded from her eyes as she went to join Starclan.

The Fox snarled at the larger cat, then yelped as it scored its claws across the foxes face. The fox narrowed its eyes at the cat, hatred filling it to the top. He would attack the larger if it hadn't seen movement from the corner of its eye. How was the smaller cat still alive? The cat was dead! The fox let out a sinister growl, and yowled in surprise as the cat shoved it over so easily. The fox quickly got up to be face to face with the smaller cat, but easily grabbed it in between its string jaws. Without mercy, the fox clenched its jaws, biting down as hard as it could before feeling the smaller cat go limp. How it loved that feeling. Without a care in the world the fox chucked threw the smaller cat against a tree. Well that'll teach them! Before the larger cat could attack again, the fox fled, leaving behind all of the destruction it had caused.

Spotfur sadly dragged his son's body onshore, both cats dripping wet. He smelled fox and glanced up, only to see his own daughter get thrown on a tree and join Starclan. For a moment, Darkpaw's death flashed through his head. His heart fell. He pulled both bodies side by side in front of Smokewish, then pressed against her, weeping into her fur. "They're dead, dearest... Both of our kits are dead." He cried. His claws scored through the ground. He sat down. "I couldn't save them. I failed. Again."
