1. He walked down a busy street Staring solely at his feet Clutching pictures of past lovers at his side
The whole idea of this animation is to turn the already angsty Rowan X Dust relationship into an even angstier one. Here's the idea map if y'all want to check it out.
Spoiler:
Intro: Map name- background is the forest going through the seasons. Stop in winter. 0:10, Rowantalon standing on Thunderpath. It's snowing lightly. 0:17, He runs across towards Dust lying in the snow. 0:24, He lifts her off of the ground and begins walking deeper into Thunderclan territory "These are just ghosts that broke my heart before I met you," Zoom out, bird's eye view of Rowan struggling through deep snow. "These are just ghosts that broke my heart before I met you." Snow falls faster, Rowan fades out of view.
"Opened up his little heart, unlocked the lock that kept it dark." Rowan holding wilting flowers at gathering, looking for Dust. "And read a written warning, saying I'm still mourning over ghosts," Dust sitting alone. Shot from behind Rowan- Rowan sees her and walks over. "Over ghosts, over ghosts, over ghosts that broke my heart before I met you." Dust stands up as Rowan sits down, looking down at him angrily. "Lover please do not fall to your knees." Rowan sits alone as Dust walks away. Maybe an angsty shot of flowers on the ground or smthn Idk. Cats walk in front of the camera. "It's not like I believe in everlasting love." He looks up, Dust is back looking apologetic. Instrumental: Zoom out on them sitting together at Fourtrees, other cats fading away. On riff repeat have snow begin to fall.
"Said he went crazy at nineteen, said he lost all his self-esteem." Cut to Rowan's face as he talks. Not lip-synched yet. "Couldn't understand why he was crying. Cry, cry, crying. Crying." Cut to Greenleaf, a younger-looking Rowan crying over a she-cat with kits at her side. "He would stare at empty chairs, think of the ghosts that once were there." Rowan sitting by a grave. First litter looking older, second looking apprentice-age and a third with three kit-aged cats. All look somewhat similar to him. Several female Starclan cats are standing next to the grave. "The ghosts that broke his heart." Spirits and kin fade away. Rowan sits alone. "Oh the ghosts that broke my heart." Cut back to Rowan and Dust fourtrees scene. Lip-synch. Rowan looking sad/regretful. "The ghosts that broke his heart, oh the ghosts that broke my heart." Dust comforts somehow. Both lip-synch last line. "The ghosts, the ghosts, the ghosts, the ghosts, the ghosts that broke my heart before I met you." Show them being affectionate in some way- nuzzle or something like that.
"Lover please do not." Dustcloud walking in her territory. It's Newleaf. "Fall to your knees, it's not." She looks up. Camera shot from behind her. Focus on Blackwhisker. "Like I believe in everlasting love." They run forward. Wide shot of them embracing, both crying.
"He says I'm so lost." Rowan by Thunderpath in Newleaf, looking across for Dustcloud. "Not at all well," He sees Dust and Blackwhisker patrolling together. Blackwhisker does something cute and affectionate. Oohs, Rowan turns and runs. Close shot of his face from a diagonal side angle. The second round of oohs, cut to Rowan saying something to Crowfur and Scorchfang, both fully-grown. They nod, looking solemn. "Do is done, there was nothing left to be," Cut to him running with forest scenery in the background. "Turns out I'd been following him and he'd been following me." Walk into Thunderclan camp, looking for a leader. Warriors question him immediately, some hostile. "Do is done after it was over." Dust pushes her way through the crowd, looking confused/desperate. Their noses nearly touch. "We were just two lovers crying on each other's shoulder." Several apprentices/kits stand by her. Two look like Rowan, a few look like Blackwhisker. "And I said, Lover please do not." Close up on part of Rowan's face from the side. See tears and gritted teeth or something like that." "Fall to your knees, It's not-" Cut to Dust. Blackwhisker stands behind her looking angry. "Like I believe in everlasting love." Dust lip-synch line, looking regretful/unhappy.
"Lover please do not," Rowan trekking through Windclan's moors. "Fall to your knees, it's not." He runs into a patrol and falls in line with them. "Like I believe in everlasting love." Cut to fourtrees in spring.
2. "Some people long for a life that is simple and planned."
My idea behind this animation is to tell the story of Leo X Lichen, mainly focusing on Lichen's thoughts after she is forced to retire. I don't know too much about this ship but I've done some reading and gained what I think is pretty good understanding of it. While I was reading, this song (which I had accidentally added to my playlist) began to play and the rest is history.
Spoiler:
Intro: Title with Thunderclan camp in the background. "Some people long for a life that is simple and planned, tied with a ribbon." An older lichen lying in the elder's den. Cut to her face, looking wistful as she stares outside the den, behind the camera. "Some people won't sail the sea because they're safer on land to follow what's written." Cut to them as apprentices. Lichen is laughing at something Leopard says. He looks mildly confused but is smiling. "But I'd follow you to the great unknown." Leopardpaw gestures to something ahead, his expression challenging. "Off to a world we call our own," They run off together.
"Hand in my hand and we'll promise to never let go," Young warriors, the two are playing and laughing together in the fall. Wide shot of them falling into a pile of leaves. "We're walking the tightrope" Closer shot of Leo and Lichen emerging from the pile of leaves. Leo looks mildly embarrassed with a leaf on his head that falls over his face while lichen roars with laughter. "High in the sky, we can see the whole world down below." Cut to a wide shot. You can see the silhouettes of Lichen and Leo, who sitting together alone on a hill a dusk. "We're walking the tightrope." Lichen leans her head on Leo's shoulder.
"Never sure, never know how far we could fall," Cut back in time to Leopardpaw fighting Bear. Cut to Lichenpaw in the background looking terrified. The battle is reflected in her eyes. "But it's all an adventure, and it comes with a breathtaking view." Leopardpaw sitting alone in the rain on the hill.
"Walking the tightrope..." Lichen fades back in- back to the previous silhouette dusk scene. Leo rests his chin on Lichen's head. "With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh." Cut to Lichen in the nursery with first litter, smiling as Leo ducks in with a rabbit. "With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh..." Cut to Lichen crouching in the nursery as Leo and Rockthorn fight, watching Cherrykit. "With you." The two sitting together beside Cherrykit's grave near sunningrocks, the charred forest in the background.
"Mountains and valleys, and all that will come in between." Show them walking together among the ashes, Lichen looking heartbroken. "Desert and ocean." Leo sighs, looking heartbroken, and Lichen tries to smile and comfort him. "You pull me in and together we're lost in a dream." Show them at Sunningrocks, looking up at the night sky together. "Always in motion," Cut to Leopardclaw's deputy ceremony. Lichen looking proud. "So I risk it all just to be with you," Lichen, Leo, Honey and Reed walking out in territory together. "And I risk it all for this life we choose." Mist rolls in, cut to Lichen looking distraught/heartbroken, Leo looking panicked as they look for their children.
"Hand in my hand and we promise to never let go." Leo comforting Lichen together in camp. "We're walking the tightrope." Next litter appears next to them, playing and laughing. "High in the sky, we can see the whole world down below." Cut to Leo and Lichen crying with their children when Honey and Reed make it back home. "We're walking the tightrope." Lichen looking older, alone in thunderclan territory. Rouges appear. "Never sure if you'll catch me if I should fall." Rouges attack.
Cut back to Lichen in the Elder's den, Leo at her side. "Well it's all an adventure, and it comes with a breathtaking view." She Lip-synchs as Leo nudges her. "Walking the tightrope..." He leaves. "With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh." She's lip-synching and looking out of the den again, resting her head on her paws. "With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, with you..." Show what she sees, peering out of the den. Leo is organizing a patrol.
"With you, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh." Cut to them as young apprentices again as Leo runs off. Show Lichens face as she runs after him. "Ooh... With you, ooh, ooh, ooh ooh ooh..." Cut to the hill, show Lichen with her eyes closed as Leo embraces her. "With you..." Cut back to Elder's den, Lichen looking happy/wistful.
Natural Instinct +1 to all Hunting rolls regardless of location, clan and prey.
Feral Ferocity (Passive) Negates all other clans’ passives. Having true wild cat blood makes your character hardier, with better survivability and highly adaptable to changes in the environment, as well as confrontations with rivals. With this passive, no cat regardless of clan or training will have a passive advantage over yours. Star Striker is the exception and is still active.
