Ducking through the bramble fencing Fourtrees from WindClan territory, Cranepaw darted after his prey, a plump but undoubtedly fast hare. Already losing his breath, the apprentice gave up the chase as he broke through the other side of the clearing, where the moorland turned into a forest with tall, looming trees and a smell of fresh greenery. Licking his muzzle as he watched his prey lose itself in the bushes, the sandy tom had gotten himself tresspassing on SkyClan territory. Huffing, he lingered, exhausted, hoping no cat would find him here resting.

Ashpaw had managed to sneak away from camp for a few moments before training, deciding to explore the territory for a little bit. Honestly, all he wanted to do was to get away; the atmosphere in camp was getting a bit suffocating. The entire clan seemed tense, and Rippedstar probably wasn't used to being leader just yet. The last thing he needed was another apprentice at his heels. "Staying away is all that we're good at anyway. Rippedstar will be ashamed as he trains us. He'll probably ask Starclan why he got stuck with such a terrible apprentice.."


Not long after, a rabbit scurried past, obviously in distress. Seeing this as a chance to prove himself, he dove after it and managed to get a scratch in. He was ready to give chase after the animal, but that's when he heard panting. Ashpaw's heart skipped a beat as he veered towards the source of the noise. As he stepped a bit closer, he smelled a bit of their scent. They smelled..strange.

"W-Who are you? And what are you doing on Skyclan territory?!"
