Moonkit ventures out

It was night, and Moonkit was excited. She had decided to venture out. She quietly snuck out of camp, and into the grass. A rustle was heard. Never had she been exposed to out of the camp, and she was so frightened that she ran back in. In the morning, no one noticed that she was very jittery.

Graystream walked into the Nursury with two vole's in his teeth: he set them down in front of Lightningkit and Moonkit, "Anyone hungry?" Graystream asked as he hadn't seen the kits leave the Nursury today and he was worried if they needed anything.

Noticing Greystream, Moonkit tried to stop shivering. "Congratulations on becoming a mentor! Goldenpaw's one of my pals. I know you'll do great with her!"

"Thank you," Graystream meowed politely in reply, "You were shivering, are you alright?" Graystream asked as it was very dangerous for a Kit to become sick.

Moonkit was worried. How would she tell the truth? Mistypelt would scold her, and she hated scoldings. Noticing a butterfly, she swiped at it.

Graystream let out a small Mrrow of laughter as Silverkit swipped at the Butterfly, "You'll make a fine hunter some day," He mewed as he watched swipe at the Butterfly.

"Errr... Thanks!" Said moonkit. She loved greystream's calm manner. It was soothing to be near a sooting, calm cat.

"I'll just let you eat when your ready," Graystream mewed slowly as he padded towards the entrance of the Nursery, "I'll see you later Moonkit," He mewed as he flicked his tail in farewell.
