Here we go Lions, here we go! Hi, and welcome to Maple Valley High School! My name is Melody, head cheerleader here at MVP, and I would love to welcome you to our humble home! Alright, so after that agonizing intro, how about we get down to the facts? My name is Ember, well it's actually November, but everyone calls me Ember. I'm in eleventh grade, and I will be the one showing you around our fine school here. Here in the main lobby, you can find the principal's office, main bathrooms, and classrooms A1-A10, those are usually the English classes and some history classes. On the next floor, which you can access with either one of the stairwells, there are lockers for freshman and sophomores, classrooms B1-B10, and the freshman bathrooms. On the third floor, there are lockers for juniors and seniors, classrooms C1-10, and the senior bathrooms. Now, this is the main building, we call it School House 1, there are two others. In School House 2 you will find the weight room, indoor track, swimming pool, and other athletic equipment. In School House 3 you will find the auditorium, band room, art room, foreign language classrooms, drama room, and other rooms for where clubs can meet. The three school houses, as you saw on your way in, are located in a triangle pattern, we call it the Triad. On the backside of the property, there are two dorm buildings; Goldenfeather, where the freshmen and sophomore dorms are located, and Abernathy, where the junior and senior dorms are. Across from the dorms is the cafeteria, a two-story building where you can find food and student aid. On the first floor of that building, you will find the financial aid office and tutoring polls. Beyond them is unused territory, most teens go out there and camp or whatever.  

Some history about MVP, students who come here are generally from wealthy families unless you are like me and have been honored with a scholarship. Now, the school was founded by Mr. Chareles L. Goldenfeather and Mr. Calhoun I. Abernathy, hints the dorm names. Goldenfeather and Abernathy were friends and built this private school for girls back in 1880, well Abernathy died and left his half to his daughter, who decided to allow boys to start coming in. It didn't take long, and boys from all over were being sent here; nowadays, there are just as many boys as girls here. Ms. Goldenfeather is Charles's fifth-generation heir to the school, the Abernathys are long gone. The last Abernathy to be here was Mr. Lionel G. Abernathy, who left after a terrible fight with Ms. Goldenfeather.

Name: Adelina “Addy” Perali Huang
Birthday & Age: January 21, 2002
Gender: Female
Description: She is 5 feet and 6 inches tall, and weighs 110 pounds. She is rather skinny, but she is muscular and very athletically fit. Her dark hair is extremely short, and is often mistaken for a boy from the back. She is of Chinese descent, so she has sort of an Asian look to her.
Personality: Addy is extremely smart and is able to apply that to the real world. She is very strongly against sexism and racism, and argues about that every time anyone even hints a sexist or racist thought. She is a black belt at Taekwondo, and often uses that to her advantage in arguments. She has no tolerance for people that tease her for being Chinese, and uses her smarts to her advantage.
Normal clothes: A gender neutral t-shirt and loose-fitting running pants/sweatpants.

Name: Atticus Theodore Clarke

Gender: Trans boy
Description: Atticus is tall for his age and thin as a rail. He’s pale, with a face and arms covered in countless freckles, his face usually flushed some shade of red. He has short, curly auburn hair that’s usually tousled and messy looking. His eyes are pale blue, almost gray.
Personality: Atticus is very independent, and he has a very brash outward exterior. He doesn’t like to be helped with his finances--being one of the few people at the school not coasting by on an excess of wealth, he refuses to be just another good deed aid to the multitudes of rich people. He’s simple and polite to elders and people he doesn’t know well, the picture of a gentleman without an excess of charm. To close friends, he’s warm and lively and a hundred percent smiles; he cares for them deeply, acting as something of a mother hen, and is often reminded he has to take care of himself, too.
Normal clothes: Atticus  prefers to wear simple sweatshirts or vests with a long-sleeved undershirt, paired with pressed dress pants and loafers. He always wants to look at least a little nice, and wouldn’t be caught dead leaving his house in say, a hoodie and sweatpants. Around the house he prefers to walk around barefoot with lounge pants and a t-shirt thrice his size.

Interests: Atticus takes a big interest in Literature and the Arts. Reading has always been a huge comfort to him, and he loves to write and draw. He’s always a fan of music, and was even in his last school’s marching band, playing first chair clarinet. He did pole vault for the track team, and while he’s never done it competitively, he loves swimming and just being in the water. He would like to take a foreign language one day, but doesn’t know which one to take.
Life Goal: He doesn’t know what he wants his job to be, but he knows he wants to change the world. He has a burning desire to leave behind a legacy, and he can’t seem to shake it.

Gender: female
Description: Medium sized brunette with hazel eyes, she has pronounced cheekbones that compliment her almond eyes. Her broad shoulders and thick hips create the perfect hour glass figure. She's not exactly thin, but has an athletic build, with muscular arms and legs. Her hair is medium length and is usually in a loose ponytail.
Personality: Ember has a quirky, sarcastic, carefree spirit. She is an unusually focused young lady and knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. She is completely rash in her decisions, but everything usually ends up working out alright in the end. She is the jealous type to the extreme. She has a few habits like waking up early, cleaning when she's nervous, over reacting, and talking in the third person.

Description: Melody stands at 5'7 and weighs all of 110 lbs, she has a pear shape but tries to make up for it with socks. She has long blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes that sparkle in the sun light. She is very beautiful with flawless skin and the perfect looking body, but looks are deceiving.  
Personality: Melody is a snob who can hide that feature rather well. She was gifted at birth with wealthy parents who could afford to send her to MVP, but she completely ignores charity, she believes that if you don't have money then you have nothing. She's a neat freak, optimistic, organized, passionate, and friendly. But don't get her wrong; she has flaws. She is greedy, a golddigger, offensive, a coward, spoiled, judgemental, selfish, hypocritical, abusive, cruel, and bitter.

Ember walked through the Triad on her way to first period, Calculus. What a way to start out the first day back then with a subject she dispiesed. It wasn't that Ember was bad at math, she just hated to do it, but she managed. She entered School House 1 and started up the stairs to go to class B3, Mr. Evans's class. He had to have been the most dry teacher that ever walked the school grounds. He had no sense of humor and was easy to tick off, Ember always made sure to stay out of his way. She entered the class room and placed her books on to her desk, then taking her seat she checked her watch to see how long she had until the bell rang; seven minutes... She looked out the class room door, only to see Melody pressed up against Levi's body; they were kissing, in the hall, right outside Ember's class room. Jealousy raced inside Ember's cheeks as her face became a charming red. She turned her head to her homework assignment and began to focus her attention on that. The good part was Levi would be joining her soon, leaving Melody all by herself in Ms. Kotter's class; which was one of the meanest teachers in the school.

Melody could hear the snickering and cackles of those who passed, but she didn't care, she wasn't kissing Levi because she wanted to; she was doing it for Ember. She loved to get under the girl's skin, and she knew exactly how. She waited until there were only a few minutes left of their twenty minute break period, and then grabbed Levi's hand as he escorted her to class. Her class room was room B5, located right next to B3. She waved good bye to Levi as she entered.

With only seconds to spare, Levi raced back to Mr. Evan's class and took his seat beside Ember.
"Cutting it close today, weren't you?" Ember asked with humor in her voice. Levi's serene eyes glimmered with amusement, "Well, it wasn't me this time, for some reason Melody is wanting to drag it out for as long as I can bear." Ember laughed along with the boy as the bell rang and started their first period together. All together the junior and senior had three classes together and two after school activities that they shared. Ember loved to spend time with Levi, he was cute and smart and had the best way to make people laugh.

Rosemary walked over to her locker and grabbed her school binder, books, gokders, and supplies before going to her classroom. She bit her lip and played with her lip ring as she sat down and took out her sketchbook. She drew until the bell rang and then put it away.

Sage walked into her clas and sat down in the front, where she usually sat. She took out her notebook and waited for the class to start.

It wasn't long before first period was over and the teens were released to go to their next class.

Ember quickly walked to her next class, excited to see her favorite teacher; Ms. Giles. Ms. Giles was extremely sarcastic and amazing at teaching English. Ember took her seat near the front and opened her binder to get out her homework.

Melody walked, holding on to Levi's hand, as they entered the classroom. She sat down and propped her feet up on Levi's lap, as she waited for the bell to ring.

Rosemary quickly went to hwr next class. She sat down and started drawing again.

Sage hurried off onto her next class. She sat down mext to her sister and smiled at her.

Ember noticed the twins entering the class, she turned in her seat and waved to the both of them. She favored Sage over Rosemary, on the account that Sage was a little more friendly than Rosemary.

Levi gave a shy laugh and gently placed Melony's feet on the floor, he then turned his attention to the front of the class where Ember and the twins were seated.

Melony gave a fake laugh and then watched as his attention turned, jealousy sstarting to swell, she took out a pen from her bag and grabbed Levi's hand. On it she drew a heart and then their initials in side of it, "There no everyone knows we're together." she gave him a crazed smile and then put the pen away.

Levi smile, nodded his head, and then turned his attention to his book; hoping to keep the crazy from going off the deep end.

Rosemary kept drawing. She ignored everybody else until the bell rang.

Sage waved back at Ember.

Class started and the rest of the day went as planned until lunch. Forth period ended and the students were released to go to the cafeteria.

Ember went through the line and then carried her tray upstairs. She went out to the back lawn and sat down beneath a shaded tree and ate her lunch peacefully.

Melody and Levi sat down at the popular table and began to chat about Friday's game.

Rosemary got her lunch and then went to her emo friends.

Sage went and got her lunch and then went over to her jock friends.

Levi waved to Sage as she sat down, "Ready for the big track meet on Saturday?" he asked, admiring the girl's athletic ability.

"Yeah stoked. How about you?" Sage said taking a bite of her food.

Atticus had had... an interesting first day.

He was new to this particular school, and incredibly worried about attending. A few kids he guessed were veterans of the place gave him peculiar looks, and over all he'd received very little interaction, positive or likewise. The day was barely half over, and he was already drained.. Sighing, he left the cafeteria in silence, not bothering to pay for lunch, heading for the back lawn. There were a few people around, but not many.. he supposed most were in that overcrowded lunch hall. He spotted one girl in particular, and came over to her, trying a smile. "Hello," he greeted, his voice cracking a little.

Good first starts. Yay.

Ember glanced up from her bunch of grapes, "Oh, hello, you must be new here. What's your name?" she asked, still chewing her last grape. She sat her tray aside and patted the earth next to her, motioning for him to sit down.

"Oh absolutely! I can't wait till tomorrow night!" Levi was quarter-back for the MVP Football team.

Melody smiled and laughed, looking as fake as possible.

Sage laughed. "So your coming to my soccer game next sunday right?" She asked chewing on a carrot.

Levi grinned, "I don't know, what's it mean to you?" he gave a playful wink and then laughed.

Melody clinched her skirt under the table, angered by Levi's flirtatious nature.
