Miss Sadie's Home for Wayward Youth RP

Jessie heard the alarm and pulled Archer up and towards the ladder. She climbed down then waited for him before starting off to the house.

James sat next to Jamie.

Archer slid down the latter, meeting Jessie at the bottom, he led the way back to the house, but before going in, he paused at the door. He turned to Jessie and pulled some hay out of her hair, gently caressing her cheek as he took his hand away.

Jamie held his hand under the table as they waited for the others.

Jessie smiled and laughed and followed Archer to the table. She took a seat next next to him.

James gave Jamie's hand a squeeze.

Natalie woke up quickly, realizing there were already noises coming from the rest of the house. She threw on the first things her hands found in her drawers; a pair a capris jeans and a navy blue t-shirt with the word "WINNER" on it in al caps in a sky blue shade. She dashed to the kitchen and met Adam at the bottom of the stairs.
"Hi Adam. Did I oversleep, because everyone seems to already be up."

Kevin woke up groggily. He wished he had just stayed awake earlier, but it was way too late for that now. He dressed himself and slipped down the stairs and into the kitchen, before realizing he had forgotten to put his glasses on. He rolled his eyes and ran to get them and came back, nearly groaning in frustration. This was not the ideal Saturday morning.

Adam laughed, "Nah, everyone just woke up early for some reason," he led the way to the dining hall and sat at their usual spot, "We're having a pancake breakfast this morning," he said proudly.

Archer padded the seat by him and Jessie, "Hey, Kevin, over here!" he called to the younger boy.

Once everyone had taken their seats, Miss Sadie gave the word for them to eat.

Jamie dug in quickly, in order to start on her chores early.

He could hear the morning noise from the road where the bus had dropped him off. He decided to wait till tomorrow to actually arrive, so he snuck on to the property, stopped by the two guard dogs. He threw each of them a bone and continued on till he came to his old tree house. He climbed the latter, noticing that someone had gussied the place up. He threw his duffle bag down on the floor and then flopped into a beanbag chair.

"That sounds tasty. Do they have chocolate chips?" Natalie asked, taking the seat next to Adam. Leaning closer to Adam, she whispered; "Remind me to tell you something later." She had come up with an idea of where to keep her prize money, but didn't trust the other teens not to eavesdrop. 

"Thanks." Kevin walked over in sat in the seat near Archer, glad to be sitting near a friend. He yawned, and realized how tired he must look. "I'm used to waking up at seven thirty on Saturdays, not five. So sorry if I seem drowsy."

Adam gave her a wink, then adjusted her cap, "Perhaps," he chuckled and then loaded his plate with pancakes and syrup.

Archer smiled, "No sweat man, it took me probably a whole week to get use to the sleeping arrangements around here." he took a bite of pancake after speaking.

The tall black figure hiding out in the clubhouse felt his stomach turn with hunger. He slowly descended the latter and headed for the kitchen window. He saw there wasn't anyone in there, and slipped inside. He grabbed a few apples and some lunch meat from the fridge, before slipping back out without being seen. He scurried across the lawn and back into the tree house. After eating apples, he threw the cores out the window. After his snack, he settled back down and got out his notebook to plot.

James smiled and dug into his food. When he was finished he put his plate away and waited for Jamie.

Jessie started to eat and when she was done she went to put her plate away and stood next to her brother.

Jamie finished rather quickly, threw her dishes in the sink, checked the chore board, and met James and Jessie to start the day's work.

Archer finished and met the group by the sink as well.

Natalie filled her plate, chuckling slightly at Adam's attempts to be charming. After finishing her breakfast, she dumped her late in the sink. She walked out to see the chore board, then nodded to Adam. "Guess we're mowing today?"

Kevin was the last to finish, sleepiness still tugging at his eyes. As he finished his pancakes, he started walking to the sink to put down his plate.

Miss Sadie walked to the three boys and handed them a list. "I need you three to get this list of things from the store, I need them by two o'clock today, you hear me?" the list read the following:
Groceries

*Apples, bananas, pears, strawberries, blue & blackberries, oranges

*Tomatoes, potatoes, celery, carrots, onions

*Bacon, Pork steaks, Hot dogs, Ground beef (5 lbs.), 8 whole chickens

Adam smiled, "That's what I'm dressed for," he joked and then grabbed the keys to the shed behind the barn. He led the way there, unlocked the door, revealing a tractor, weed eater, riding lawn mower, and other lawn equipment. "Which would you like to do?" he asked in the utmost regal way.

James looked over the list and then ran upstairs to grab his keys. "Lets get going boys. Rides on me." He winked and laughed afterwards. "Just kidding. Let's go lover boy and Kevin." He smiled and led the way to his blue pick up truck. He unlocked the doors and told the boys he'd be there in a sec. He ran around to the back of the truck and unhooked the trailer again. He ran around to the back and opened it up and walked inside. He smiled and patted his beautiful Clydesdale and hooked her bridle and lung line and led her to the fenced off pasture with the other horses and gave her a pat and turned her loose where she ran off to join the other horses who looked like they were having a secret meeting. Then he tossed the lunge line into the trailer and then locked it up with his keys and ran back to the truck and hopped into the drivers seat checking to make sure the list was there before buckling up and driving away.

OOC: What's Jessie's chore? And where do I go to find it? Lol

"Whichever gets the most done. Start with the big stuff so the small stuff doesn't seem as hard." Natalie glanced over the equipment and out across the lawn, making sure no one was close. After Adam replied, she would tell him he idea.

Kevin followed James.

OOC: Jamie and Jessie are to clean and take care of all the animals and you can find it on the front page :)

IC: Archer smiled and hopped in beside James, ready to get the chore over with.

Jamie started for the barn to get the wash area ready, she took down the hose and wash bucket and then whistled for Lightning to come in. He came trotting and she quickly washed him down.

Adam nodded, gazing across the lawn and then looked Natalie up and down; sizing her up for the task at hand.

IC:Jessie followed Jamie and then gave a short shrill whistle and Twilight came running over. She smiled and patted her neck before getting to work on washing her.

James rolled down the dirt road for a while before they came to the town. He pulled up to the store and parked.
