James nodded and followed Jamie.

Kevin continued with the chorus, fully into the music now. He attempted to do a cool move, but ended up looking like he was crazy. But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing, for as Archer said, the audience would love it. He sang the rest of the chorus, and by then they were nearly to the end. He looked towards Archer, wanting to see what he was doing so he could do something somewhat similar.

Archer did a move he had seen in the movie, and then finished the song on a strong ballad. Panting, he lifted his arms and shot a look at Kevin to take a bow with him.

Jamie clapped for their friends, glad to see them having fun.

OOC: Okay we need to choose a winner, who should it be?

Kevin finished off the song with Archer, smiling good-naturedly. He noticed Archer's look, and took a bow along with his new friend. Though he felt rather tired from performing, he felt happy. They probably wouldn't win, but he felt proud anyway.

Natalie clapped a little, not really paying too close attention.

OOC: So I was thinking, here are my two theories:

1. Kevin and Archer win for being crazy and natural with their singing
2. Jamie and Natalie tie and have to go at it in battle

OOC: I like two better

OOC: Me too, Squirrelnose?

OOC: I like two as well.

OOC: great and then after they can see Jamie

OOC: I kind of wanted to have like Natalie and Jamie become like not enemies at the end like maybe acquaintances or something.

IC: The DJ finished clapping for the pair and then lifted an envelope from the booth, "Alright, in this envelope contains the name of the winner of our competition. The winner is based off of their ability and the amount applause that was given at the end of their performance," he began to open the envelope, "So, without further ado," he pulled the white piece of paper out of the envelope, "the winner of tonight's kareoke contest and the five hundred dollar prize is," he unfolded the paper, and a surprised look came across his face, "Ladies and gentlemen, to my astonishment, we have two winners tonight: Jameson McGrath and Natalie Mayor!" he paused for everyone to applaud.

Adam clapped loudly for his friend, proud that she had won.

Archer clapped and whistled for Jamie.

James clapped his hands and gave Jamie another kiss for good luck.

"Alright, alright," the DJ called out, "Now to settle the score, I need you two ladies to sing one more song and see who can get the higher score," he looked at his list of songs, "now you two discuss what you are going to sing alright?"

Jamie was a little distraught, she glared at Natalie, how am I even going to hold a conversation with her? She nodded at James, and then slowly approached Natalie.

James went over to stand by Archer and Kevin nodding at them.

Archer nodded to him, "what do you think Jamie will sing?" he asked James, noticing how close the couple was now.

Jamie nodded at Natalie, "You seem to be a worthy opponent, Mayor." she said coldly.

James shrugged. "Ph yeah the hospital called. Jessie's awake." He said
