Miss Sadie's Home for Wayward Youth RP

Jessie stood after clearing her plates and followed Jamie.

Jamie looked at the board and smiled, "hey, look, we both get to feed the animals!" Jamie said happily.

Adam looked at the board, sweet... something outside, he thought.

Archer began his work on the house, knowing it was going to take some time.

Jessie beamed. "Well that's just dandy I love doin that. Back when I lived on farms that was my favorite parts caring for the animals. Shall we?" She said.

"let's!" Jamie said enthusiastically. She opened the front door and started off the porch.

Natalie ate her sandwich and observed the others. She loved grilled cheese, and the tomato soup wasn't too bad. Archer seemed funny, but not the best. He seemed to like Jessie, who seemed friendly enough. Adam definitely wouldn't be an immediate threat, and Jamie seemed nice, and seemed to be thinking about something deeply. She hoped there wasn't to many couples, aa boy-girl relationship would create way too much drama.
Natalie looked at the job board and groaned. Doing laundry would probably take a while, and that meant less time to run. She would have to wait an hour after eating anyway, so maybe she would be done in time. If not, she was going to get back time somehow. She was about to go start when she noticed Jessie and Jamie talking. She scolded herself for being jealous at their friendship, but set in her mind to talk to them someday. She would at least get to know if they would be friends or foes.

IC Jessie grinned as they ran off to the barn following close behind Jamie. Once they got ther her eyes widened at the size it was ten times bigger than the one her family had before the fire. She grinned.

Jamie laughed to herself at Jessie's reaction to the barn and the animals, she contemplated on Adam's expression; his face, the way he stood, the way his eyes had shifted from side to side. I know him from somewhere... she thought, he seemed familiar to her, but she didn't know why.

Adam headed to the garden and began working immediately, making sure he didn't add to much.

Jessie looked up and down the stalls getting familiar with the animals and came across Lighting. "How old is Lightning?" She asked turning to Jamie.

Pulling up into the drive of Miss Sadies home, Anne-Marie smiled. This is perfect. Time to wreak havoc- When she heard her dog, Maverick, whimpering beside her she remembered that this was supposed to help her, not make it worse. She smiled and put her hands in her lap, waiting to arrive at the front door. When the car finally arrived, she hopped out and grabbed both of her suitcases. When she looked back, the car had already driven off. She headed towards the front door, knocking on it when she arrived upon it."Hello?" She waited patiently, her dog Maverick sitting happily beside her.

Jamie was snapped out of her thoughts by this question, "Um... I believe he is about four years old." she walked up to join her, slipping an apple from her pocket. She placed her finger to her lips, "Don't tell anyone, its a secret." Jamie felt bad for stealing food, but she loved Lightning more.

Adam finished his chore rather quickly, and began to look around his new living place. He was thrilled to be in a new safe place. As he began to walk he had to slow his pace do to the injury to his leg.

Archer finished his dusting and decided to take a quick break outside, he decided a quick run to the main gate couldn't hurt. As he ran, he noticed that Jessie and Jamie had left the barn door parted, I wonder what they are up to... he thought.

Miss Sadie opened the door quickly, she spotted the small dog and felt a splash of joy seep into her. "Why, hello, I'm Miss Sadie, who are you?" she asked warmly.

That's the horse and I still don't know a name for her yet I'm still thinking

IC: Jessie nodded and walked down the stalls until she got to a beautiful black and white horse but her stall had no name placard. "Whos she? She doesn't have a name placard." She stepped closer and the horse snored and she reared up and Jessie knowing what to do stepped back from the obvious wild and still untamed horse. She looked at the horse already knowing how to handle her seeing as she learned from her parents and older brother.

Jamie quickly lunged forward to pull Jessie away, but Jessie was already there, she relaxed as the horse settled. "We found her out in the field one day, we don't know where she came from or even who she is." Jamie pulled out another apple and slid it into the horses bucket, and stepped back to let her eat it.

The horse munched on the apple and snorted again. She eyed the two girls as she turned around and Jessie quickly grabbed the bucket and pures some of the grain and hay inside there before putting t back and doing the same with her water bucket. "Well I'd say she about 2-3 years old she's really healthy and she looks young but she doesn't look like she's had any foals. Has Lighting had any foals? Hmm.." She said as the mare reached her head over her stall into Lightings and nickered softly. "She seems to like Lighting."

Jamie smirked a crooked smile, "Well, I don't think so, I've only had him for a little over a year now." she looked back at Lightning, "but I'm sure their foals would be beautiful!" she said beaming with pride.
