Miss Sadie's Home for Wayward Youth RP

Archer lowered his voice, "If we're really good, Miss Sadie will let us off and tomorrow we can hang out with the girls again." He paused after he thought of an idea, " I say after dinner, the four of us volunteer to do the dishes, "

Jamie walked closer to her and lowered her voice, "I feel sorry for Natalie because she reminds me of myself. When I first got here I was mean and ruthless, ready to set the world on fire! After a year of that, I had an older girl who set me in my place, that's why I'm hard on her."

"Yeah, I'm Natalie," Natalie responded to the older boy, "Who are you?" Natalie decided she would at least get to know this guy's name, and he seemed nice enough.

Jessie nodded. "oh yeah I understand totally." She replied.

James nodded agreeing.

"My name is Adam," he paused to fix his ruffled shirt, "I noticed you were a bit on edge with the others, can I help in any way." Adam knew how difficult it was to be passed around from home to home, and how angering it was to know that a simple mistake is what put you there in the first place.

Jamie shook her head, " I just don't want her to end up alone like I did. I cut off all my 'friends' and wound up staying here alone for a year. " she paused to look around the room, "Do you think I should apologize?" she asked, her light green eyes looking concerned.

Archer finished the floors and then suggested they move to the dining hall and make sure the table was set.

Jessie nodded. "Yeah better to mend things now but I would wait until after dinner she didn't seem cooled off enough." She said as she finished the windows and started cleaning something else.

James nodded and followed Archer to the dining hall.

"Eh, I'm fine on my own. They shouldn't be to hard to deal with." Natalie shrugged, but wondered why he asked. Maybe he had some experiences like hers. She calmly started walking to her room to come up with more ways to get back at Jamie. Hopefully after this, she wouldn't have too many enemies for a while.

Jamie nodded and then went over to dust off the fireplace. "I believe when we are done here, we should move to the dining hall and help set up in there." she suggested.

Archer made sure each table setting had everything it needed.

Jessie nodded and followed and help the boys and Jamie set up.

James helped to make sure everything was set and if anything didn't he set it out.

Miss Sadie came over the intercom, "Alright, dearies, dinner is ready, please gather in the dining hall!" her voice was full of cheer, as if the events of today didn't faze her personality.

Jamie took her seat beside Miss Sadie and waited for the others to join.

Archer waited for Jessie to sit down before taking a seat beside her.

Adam walked down the steps and into the dining hall, he took a seat next to Archer and waited to be served.

Natalie walked back to the dining room, and chose a seat away from the other people. She sat and waited to be served.

While the others took their seats, Miss Sadie brought out the chicken and roasted vegetables. She placed them on the table in front of everyone so they could choose the amount they wanted. "Alright everyone, take your seats and dig in!" she announced.

Jessie sat next to Archer and under the table squeezed his thigh comfortingly.

James sat down next to Jamie.

Archer smiled apologetically to Jessie and Jamie and then began to fill his plate with food.

Jamie grinned at James and then began to eat. Once she was in the middle of the meal, she let her hand slide to her lap.

Adam began to eat his food and noticed Natalie sitting alone; silently, he rose from where he sat and moved across from her. He was trying to be inconspicuous, but most likely failed.

"That chicken smells nice," Natalie said in her best effort to be polite. Being allies with Miss Sadie would give her an advantage. She was barely able to contain a groan at the roasted vegetables, which she had always disliked. Taking a fair amount of chicken she began to eat.
