Boredom in the Nursery.

She slowly blinked her eyes open, her mind was light headed and her vision blurry. It was the soft, morning light
that poured through the cracks of the wall that cleared her senses. The small she-kit found herself next to the comfort of
her mother's belly. The sweet smell of the air surrounded her. It was then that she remembered exactly where she was.

It was the nursery. A den for both queens and kits in the camp of ShadowClan. And that's who she was. Ebonykit
of ShadowClan. The clan in the marsh, along with the others. ThunderClan, RiverClan, and WindClan.

Ebonykit got up and yawned, stretching the whole time. When she had quite finished, she glanced at her mother.
She was sleeping peacefully. Now that she realized it, most of the kits had left and all the others were sleeping or
just being lazy. The small black tortoiseshell groaned. Nothing much changes. All the cool warriors were out
sleeping from the gathering, or on Dusk Patrol... No wait... Dawn patrol. She flicked her ears. Ebonykit could be
confusing to herself even in the comforts of her mind.

The she-kit walked over to the main clearing of the den, "Hello? Is anyone awake?" she called out. There had to
be someone that she could play with.

Midnightpaw,hearing a kit call out from inside the den,poked her head in." If you want to do something,you can come out and I can show you around the camp." Midnightpaw told the kit.

Ebonykit whipped her head around, seeing Midnightpaw enter the den.

"Are you serious?" she smiled, "Sweet!" The small kitten padded after the larger apprentice.
Her tail was high in the air from excitement. "So, are we allowed to go into the leader's den?"

"No." Midnightpaw said. "Even though I have been in there once,cause I got in trouble." she started walking away from the nursery. "Come on!" she said over her shoulder.

Jaybird had just come back from a patrol. He felt like lying down the whole day,like a tortoise. Sighing,he saw Midnightpaw guiding a young kit,new to the clan. He purred and quietly watching,his blue eyes sparkling.

Ebonykit gave the black and white she-cat a curious look. "Really? What'cha do?"
Her gaze still continued to look around the camp, half minded.

Treekit followeed Ebonykit out quietly and slipped into the shadows.

Ebonykit blinked, glancing around. She saw Jaybird watching them, but that was it.
The small she-kit frowned. She had sworn she had heard someone, and not the warrior
or the apprentice.

Treekit wonders if he should just step. But I wasn't invited to get shown around camp he thought.

Ebonykit frowned and flicked her tail. She spun around, "Alright, whoever's there, quit
trying to sneak up on us!" she dearly hoped that she wasn't just imagining things, for
that would be seriously embarassing.
