Foxspark licked Bluesky's cheek, "what?" he looked worriedly at the medicine cats

"Hawkpaw, her wounds where too great for the herbs.... she'll be fine," she mewed "but she'll need something to bite on, and first something to cut off the blood flow, to her tail. i'm worried if we leave it things might get worse..."

Bluesky's breathing quickened as she started to panick. "You-you're going to cut my tail off?!" She moved closer to Foxspark.

"half of it," she mewed, "im sorry Bluesky, its the only option..." Mistyriver grabbed a rope-like plant and tied it tight around the end of her sisters tail to cut off the blood flow.

Bluesky hissed in pain under her breath. She squeezed her eyes shut. This was going to hurt!


OOC: Aren't you going to take me back to camp? *hint* hint*

Mistyriver gave her a peace of slightly damp wood to bite on, (like they did in the old days for amputations XD), And grapped the sharp rock. she winced, "r-ready Bluesky?"

OOC: don't we do that after your tail is gone? XD

"I- I think so..." She muttered getting noxious. She got ready to feel the pain by putting her jaws on the wood.

"Are you sure that it's the only thing we can do?" he looked almost as worried at Bluesky, "i really don't want her to have to...."

"get her tail cut off? and yes, i have said already, its the only option. I'm sorry, i don't want it this way either," Mistyriver turned to Bluesky, "Three... Two..." Before she mewed 'one' she cut the infected Part of her sisters tail off with the sharp side of the stone.

As the stone cut through her skin, then muscle, then cartilage, Bluesky squeezed the wood with her jaws. Her eyes were watering, and a high pitched wail rose from her throat. After the pain of the amputation ended, Bluesky let go of the wood and a pulse of pain went through her body and a wail of the same pain rose up from inside her. Blood welled from her tail. "Fox-foxspark-" Her eyes were wide with scaredness.

Mistyriver had only used some of the poultice before, and had left some incase of this. faster then you could think, she had the poultice on her sisters tail, also wrapped in multiple layers of cobwebs.

"Foxspark!!" She shrieked again.

Foxspark looked scared also,"you'll be fine," he licked her cheek, but he still looked scared.

"Foxsparks right," she mewed, "you'll be okay. its will hurt for awhile, but it looks like it will heal,"

"No! It's not that!!!" She yowled.
