Firepaw's Warrior Ceremony

Mistpelt padded into the ThunderClan camp. Now, where was Firepaw? She did a quick scan of the clearing to see if he was there...

"Well..." Mistpelt purred, excitment filling her. "It's time for your warrior ceremony!" She burst.

"Let's head to the Highrock then!" Mistpelt meowed, hopping up onto the rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" She called to the camp.

Firepaw sat high next to the Highrock brimming with excitement.

"I, Mistpelt, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." Mistpelt meowed authoratively. To Firepaw, "Firepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Firepaw, from this moment you will be known as Firelight. StarClan honors your bravery and courage, and we welcome you as a full member of ThunderClan." Mistpelt jumped off the Highrock and touched Firelight's shoulder with her muzzle.
