Silverpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Bluesky quickly dashed through the reeds of the warriors' den straight to the apprentices' den. "Silverpaw, Silverpaw?" She called into the darkness.

Silverpaw's eyes glittered in the darkness. "Yes, Bluesky?" She called, rising to her feet.

Bluesky cast her tail towards Silverpaw then to herself to invite her to her side. "I think your training has paid off. It's time you became a warrior. Come." She bounded onto the High Stump. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join beneath the HighStump for a clan meeting!" She yowled.

Silverpaw nodded, trying to keep the happiness inside her calm. She bounced up with Bluesky, her tail held high.

The blue tabby watch as the cats filled the clearing. "Today, we gather here to make this apprentice a warrior. I, Bluesky, call upon my Warrior Ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her as a Warrior in turn." She looked down at Silverpaw. "Silverpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code even for the cost of your life?"

She nodded. "I-I-I do. . . " she meowed.

She gave her a smile of encouragement. "From this day forward, you shall be known as Silverfish. StarClan honours your skill and courage, and we welcome you as a full member of RiverClan." She ended nd leaned forward and put her head on Silverfish's shoulder. "SILVERFISH, SILVERFISH, SILVERFISH!!!!" The cheers echoed through the sky.

Silverfish stood proudly on all four paws, glowing with pride. "Thank you, Bluesky." She said happily.

"Tonight under the will of StarClan you must sit a silent vigil. Then, after that, I will show you where you are going to sleep." She went into the warriors' den to prepare a nest.
