Its hard to explain, but its a series by Julia Golding. In the books there are people (all ages) and mythical creatures. There's this Soceity that ia trying to keep the creatures hidden from the rest of the world. The mythical creatures have certin people who can "talk" with them. These are companions. Thats the best I can describe. If you want to know more, read the books. Its kindda in progress of being made, but I want to finish the series to figure out the plot.

Its nothing like Fablehaven. Your not a mythical yourself, but your a human thats a companion to a mythical creature. If it still makes no sense you should go a check out the books.
