One Last Chance To Change

Honeypaw flicked her tail and nodded. She looked at Darkpaw with pleading eyes.

OOC: Sorry for only OOC post, but Cinnamon hasn't been on in a week, so we should probably skip her turn.

OOC: I thought this thread died lol

IC: Honeypaw looked back between Scorchpaw and Darkpaw. She wanted her family to be together desperately.

OOC: Okay, I was waiting for her so sorry this took so long for me to post.

IC:

"Scorchpaw, let me ask you something. What have you....any of you....done to earn my loyalty? What have any of you done to deserve my full commitment? Why should I trust in you when all of your hearts are filled with evil? I'm not stupid, I know who my father is. I know his soul belongs to the Dark Forest. I know I will never abandon Starclan and become one of you evil fox-hearts, I will never disobey my clan or my loyalty." The Riverclan apprentice seethed with anger; the righteous kind that was in him for the right reason. At Scorchpaw's last comment, the anger boiled even hotter.

"She is not my mother! No mother of mine abandons her children! No mother of mine would break the warrior code and mate with a rogue, let alone a murderous one! You want to know who my real mother is? The one who took care of me in Riverclan, the one who taught me how to stay steadfast in my trueness to my clan. She is the one who made me realize that family isn't determined by blood, but by loyalty and determination in keeping each other alive. I am done here." The tom then turned to Honeypaw, looking at her with a sad expression. "Honeypaw, if you are one of them, one of the evil ones who claim to be something to me that they aren't, then I do not know who you are anymore. I'm sorry." And with that, the tom turned and fled for Riverclan's camp. The decision had been made; his "family" would have to be a family without him.
