HELP ME please

I was listening to a fire place video that was 8 hours long and I left it on all night when I woke up the video was done and I shut my laptop. About an hour later I turned it on and it was broken, I mean the screen won't work it's something inside the laptop that is making it horrid I NEED HELP I am on my phone right now ;-;

Your laptop might be out of batteries if you didn't have it charged or something. That, or it may have overheated.

Oh this has happened to me, I just did what Awkward said and it worked fine. But maybe its different than mine, mine when I opened it was just loading and then it blacked out and I got so worried. But my step dad told me to shut it down and that worked so maybe that isn't what is happening, but I would listen to Cho because she's pretty helpful. (my advice is terrible XD)

I doubt it is out of batteries and I am pretty sure it is not overheated though thx for the suggestions

You should check, though cx. It's not good to make assumptions. Leaving something on for eight hours straight after constant use can certainly lead to power draining or overheating.

That would not only drain its battery but it'll also work itself and probably become slower overtime and decrease battery life. Overall performance is ruined. I'd try to get a laptop cooler if you're planning to keep it on for so long. If your laptop felt oddly warm or hot when you first checked it today, that means it's either starting to overheat or it already did.

If that doesn't work, like everyone else, try to simply restart/power down and wait a few minutes or so before trying again. I'd give it maybe five to ten minutes.

And well, if that doesn't work, I'd need to know your laptop model to give more specific advice. ><

No I meant UGH it wasn't overheated the screen is broken on the inside some how

Try consulting google. You'll get more answers that way.

That's what I always do, I'm to lazy to figure stuff out sometimes.

If it's broken on the inside, try taking it to a store for a check-up if you can't figure it out and checked Google and such.

If you have charged it and let it cool for a few hours take it to your local computer repairs :)
