Gender Confusion

I know I've had my fair share of looking at someone's profile and assuming they're one gender, when they're actually the other. Would anyone like to admit to their mistake, and perhaps share a funny and/or embarrassing situation that resulted from it?

Here, I'll start us off: Pika, honestly, I thought you were a girl at first. >.< You can imagine my bewilderment when I finally found the little blue image signifying your gender. I think it was your picture of that cute little rodent that threw me off. ^^;

EDIT:: Okay, so I've been notified that Pika is actually a girl. Wow, I suck at life. But hey, I've read people call Pika both him and her, so you can't blame me for being confused. xD

Honestly, I wouldn't make a whole topic about this, if you really want to know, pm the people you have questions for. Some people like having the opposite genders in their profile and they may not want to post about it in a topic for some reason. Just my two cents.

Oh wow okay, so my initial conclusion was right. I was so confused when I saw Pika's gender on her profile. Also, I've seen people refer to her as a him, so that just added to my confusion...

Anyways, the reason I made this topic wasn't for people to ask questions. It's to share funny experiences that came out of your confusion.

This isn't necessarily something I did, but I've actually been mistaken for a boy quite a lot cx Not really sure why, but it doesn't bother me. Heck, y'all can call me whatever you want~ I respond to just about anything. Except derogatory terms.

Actually at first, I thought Pika was a boy too. For a short time, I thought Fish was a boy. Due to previous name association, I have to keep correcting myself on Winter's gender as well.

*sigh* Internet problems... xD I think it's also the characters a person plays. If they play mostly male, people are more likely to see them as male. If they play most female, people are more likely to see them as female. But idk, that's just my opinion.
