Rise of ApprenticeClan [patrol training woo]

Mapledrop leaped from tree to tree keeping up. She slowed when Nettlepaw fell and waited for her to get up and when she did she kept going making sure no one else stayed behind.

Pinepaw felt himself slouch slightly at Breezestar's orders. They'd have to run on the branches? With the messy jump he'd made to get up there in the first place, it didn't seem like such a great idea. However, when he looked to his mentor, he stood up straighter on his branch and looked up at the one on the tree ahead. He leaped forward, using his momentum to move him to the next and the next.

But he wasn't as big as his mentor, and he undershot his jump to the same tree Nettlepaw had fell on, barely able to grip the bark with his claws and drag himself onto it. The tom shook out his pelt and started moving forward again, changing how he jumped slightly each time.

Hazelpaw stared at the tree anxiously.. that had looked so high.. and her mentor was no where to be seen! How was she going to get through this without Crowflight's praises?? After standing in front of a tree stiffly Hazelpaw had realized almost ever apprentice had climbed to the top without no issues, she couldn't be the one to slow everyone down how embarrassing! Her claws came out and sank into the bark and slowly very slowly she scrambled up the tree. Her eyes widening once she realized how high she was already up. "Uh.. Uh.. I don't like this at all.. Maybe we should go back to camp?" Hazelpaw had said giving pleading eyes towards Breezestar although it seemed like he wasn't listening. The apprentice scrambled over towards a branch, her claws sinking into the bark so deeply because she was deathly afraid of falling. Her eyes had widened even more when Breezestar said to jump branch to branch. No way in heck was she doing that! "Hey! thats uh really dangerous I think I'll actually turn back..." Hazelpaw said going more nervous as she watched Pinepaw hardly make the jump to the other branch.. Yeah no way she was going to be able to make it.

Whitepaw had climbed to the top of the tree and started to spring from branch to branch. She used her muscles to make the jumps more easy.

Snowpaw started leaping branch to branch. She used her back legs as a spring to the next branch. She used her front claws to dig into the bark of the branches. She repeated those two things.

Cottonpaw, always eager to please, shook out her fur a little before running along the branch she was on. She put one paw in front of the other until it was time to jump to the next one. The she-cat bunched herself up again and leaped to another branch, holding herself against it with her claws. Hey, that wasn't too hard! she thought with a happy purr. After scanning the area with sparkling blue eyes, she continued on her way, following a few branches back in Breezestar's wake.

Breezestar watched as they went on, some struggling a bit more than others. He glanced back towards Hazelpaw, whom had gotten stuck behind as she stared down fearfully at the ground. "Well done, everyone! See if you can catch some prey!" The tom called to all the apprentices and nodding at the warriors. They would be slow to reach their destination but that was alright with him, understandable.

"Hazelpaw, are you alright?" He asked, leaping into the thick branch in front of her, calling for the she-cat's attention. "It's alright to be scared. I was too the first time I learned to travel through trees." The gray tabby offered her a kind smile.
