Rise of ApprenticeClan [patrol training woo]

Breezestar sat near the edge of the river, flicking his tail and waiting patiently for the apprentice's of his clan - and any warriors that felt like tagging along. It had rained near all the day before, but the morning now was bright and sunny, although there was still a chill in the air, the breeze was crisp and fresh - and he thought it the perfect day to lead a patrol. "Come on guys, line up!" He called.

Lilypaw upon hearing the leader and her mentor, the young apptemtice padded over and sat down waiting for the others.

Whitepaw came running up to Lilypaw when she heard her leader call. "Hi!" She mewed.

Snowpaw bounded over after hearing her leader's call. She sat down next to Whitepaw.

OOC: "patrol training woo" WOOT WOOT

Sandfeather padded over to Breezestar. Her eyes were dull and brimming with frustration. How dare Windclan raid them like Thunderclan! Those no good cats were what fueled most of Sandfeather's anger but also the fact that her mate was also mates with her best friend. She shrugged off her thoughts and looked at Breezestar.
"I'll join, please," Sandfeather murmured.

Hazelpaw had scrambled from the apprentice den, there were so many apprentices that slept in the small den! Thankfully they will be leaving back home soon. When the apprentice had heard of a patrol Hazelpaw was eager too join in. "Hey everyone!" She called out in a friendly tone.

With a long stretch, Pinepaw followed the rest of his denmates at Breezestar's call. "Do you think we'll find some Windclan cats?" he meowed, flicking his tail. One day he'd get them for taking their home away, but much later. Revenge was best served cold. His eyes glanced at Lilypaw. He got the feeling she acted differently around him than other cats, but he couldn't quite place why. He'd probably ask later, after the patrol.

OOC: um @BlueChristmas Sandfeather wasn't supposed to know about Mapledrop and Deerflight. Besides her "mate" is Finchheart so yea..

IC: Mapledrop padded over and smiled at her apprentice.

Oakpaw was already awake when Breezestar called for them, All of us? I'm his apprentice! Holding a growl he narrowed his yellow eyes. He slid out of the crammed den, flattening his ears as the too small opening scratched his perfect black and brown tabby pelt.
Sitting close to Breezestar he sniffed at Pinepaw, "I wouldn't doubt it. With the snow they're surely scrambling for any prey they can get their fat paws on." He looked up at Breezestar, Am I right? Do you see how smart I am? His mind bordered on psycho, he always needs to feel better and right than others. This would be his undoing.

Cottonpaw bounded after her eldest brother, her long and meticulously groomed tail fur streaming in her wake. She sat herself down near Breezestar, looking up at him with the same excitement she'd had during her ceremony. Her blue eyes sparkling, she looked around at the other cats. She wasn't quite sure where her to-be-mentor was, but she figured Breezestar would sort it out.

"Hello, Breezestar," she mewed politely, dipping her head in respect. "How are you doing today?"

Rosepaw padded after her mother and mentor. Her light ginger pelt was freshly groomed and her green eyes were filled with excitement.

Fallenpaw padded after their older brother Oakpaw. His light ginger pelt was slightly messy, but he'd ask his twin to fix it later, his green eyes were filled his excitement and mischief. Over the past couple of moons he and Oakpaw had gotten close and he was now like his minion. He cast a quick glance at his sister and mother. Rosepaw avoided Oakpaw despite being brave, she was also the calm cool and collected she cat. While Rosepaw was hanging out with their mother, Fallenpaw would rather go exploring and hang out with his older brother Oakpaw.

Rosepaw wrinkled her nose when Fallenpaw turned around. She didn't get why he would rather hang out with their older brother than hang out with his own twin and their younger sister Cottonpaw and their mother. Since Rosepaw was the eldest one of the three she felt that she had to look out for her other two younger siblings.

Sandfeather huffed and looked at Oakpaw and Fallenpaw. Her eyes glinted with a small bit of concern.
"Why don't we head out now, Breezestar, so we don't meet a Windclan patrol..." Sandfeather suggested.

Nettlepaw scrambled out of the apprentices' den. "Oh, are you going on a patrol?" she asked breathlessly. The spiky brown she-cat glanced around. "Anyone know where Deerflight is?"

Breezestar nodded at Sandfeather as she padded up, listening with perked ears as all the young apprentices came running in at once, all with questions of their own - which hopefully he could answer before they all got too impatient. "Hopefully not, Pinepaw." He meowed. "We know these woods far better than they, much like they know their own moors. We're likely not to see them where we're going." He glanced at Oakpaw, who he knew was slightly bitter about not being taken out alone by the leader himself, but there was plenty of good time for that. "If we're lucky, they haven't taken any prey at all. All of our prey stay high in the trees. WindClan cats are too scrawny to move through them like we do. They're likely by the ThunderClan border where rabbits tend to cross."

His gaze traveled over the others, resting on Cottonpaw for a moment. "I feel as good as I can be." The tom meowed, nodding at Sandfeather's question again and swept his gaze over Nettlepaw before looking to the river. "If he catches up, then good - but for now we'll have to go on without him." He started to walk off into the river where it was shallow. It was cold, but not hard to cross.

"Listen well, all of you," The gray tabby called. "Each clan has a trait that makes them special to their own territory. Can you all tell me what the others are? And what ours is?" He shook the water off his pelt once they'd reached the otherside, peering into the thick, towering trees.

Snowpaw smiled. "WindClan attacks quickly. ThunderClan fake retreats. RiverClan nearly drowns the enemy. ShadowClan surprises the enemy at night. SkyClan drops from tree branches." she answered.
